There was an incident with some sort of chemical that the lads placed on a slip and slide on grand final night that they thought was a detergent.Apparently 5 players required hospital treatment and one was more effected than the other. Not sure of names but did happen.

Any truth that the internal issues at Tanunda have now got to an all time low and the detergent bottle was swapped for caustic soda.
In all seriousness I hope young Benny Schillers ass has a speedy recovery.
Hey Sambo or Swooper will Britton be having a crack at regaining the mantle.

A little scratchy this morning after the Panthers B&F count last night.
Matthew Doecke the Crown Prince of Angaston took out his 6th B&F and now spread over 3 decades.
Followed closely in second place by Ruwolt.
The Crown Prince will be well groomed to take over from Mayor Hurn
Coach Hadden signed off from his official duties before handing over to his successor when announced in the coming week.

Any other B&F results yet?

Matt Stelzer won Barossa's medal.

Tanunda
Kapunda - browny has exceeded the expectations on the bombers.
South - Scott Lee has finally elevated the Lions from the foot of the table
Barossa - Has Roger underachieved with his list

Willaston - Donny's had big budget and expectations of Irving
Nuri - The Rovers have spent up more than normal, Norts and Gers are both sharpening the knife for salter.
Freeling - developing list under Tyler, list needs a few tweaks for next year.
Angaston - Hadden hasn't recovered since the 2010 elimination final loss. They had more gains than losses from pre season.
Centrals - unfounded territory for the gawler tigers, not expected for Herzick to get any more from the cubs in 2012.

Tell me Mohammad, Has Roger underachieved with his list ?

So you went digging for this one young man.
Exactly my point when he had the side sitting in fourth with his list.
I think my observation was correct, I expected his list to at least make the GF, but to win the flag was exceeding expectations
Happy to give credit where credit is due. :ymapplause:

My point is, don't judge a coaches performance until the end of the season. Finals results are the only thing that matter.

Comments about other clubs from the Uncle a little Tanundacentric don't you think. News is up to six returning to former clubs including AJ; problems that arose - a god word - will be too much for some to take for another year.
You discounted Kapunda this year as well - how about credit where it's due; and just because a player has been around a while doesn't mean they're old. Check your facts. But Nangas has retired, though most of team will be around next year, only 2 juniors likely at Centrals for whole year.
My mail is coach might be from a bit further north, but it's Buckets if he wants it. Browny great this year, but might need a change in coach to secure some players, and go one step further.

Not the great Mick McCarthy returning from RSMU, Spur?

I was at the dishlickers last night celebrating Matthew Doeckes record breaking B&F.
When I overheard some SANFL Magpies suggesting Gawler Centrals offered them $1200-$1500 a game.
Centrals still trade in cattle, but they only spent $22K this year and may have points in hand.

Why would clubs not want to get rid of the bye which depending on season draw could have your club not play a game of footy for 3 weeks if club bye is near assoc bye ????

I bet the one team that voted for birdwood would be Angaston.
Its the only chance they have of winning a game next year.

So there may some movement at Kapunda with the lad Schell being mentioned to replace Browny.
If this happened it would be a disgrace as Browny has done a great job and deserves another year in charge.
Was mentioned when he told the families that have run the club for years to back off he is coach and they can come and watch and support but not interfear with selection his tenure would be short.
Also heard on the week-end that Donnies have now lost big Williams after meeting with O'Connor went down hill.
Any Donnies supporters know who they have kept as I believe all imports gone from last year. How about Walton is he moving as well?
Matt Westhoff back for sure next year and Kennedy big chance for mighty magpies.
Also asked our delegate about Birdwod and no vote taken yet about them coming in next year.
Dont need them as they would not be competetive and bye is ok and we are used to it now.

Maybe O'Connor coming back to see if he can wipe the club out completely this time

Re Kapunda that was the downfall of Milligan but surely that wouldnt happen to one of their own in Browny

I wouldn't be so sure about Birdwood not being competetive. And wouldn't you get enough breaks with Association and Country Carnivals. You lot sound a bit soft to put it bluntly. Who wouldn't want to play 18 full rounds of footy. Sounds like you might be slightly intimidated by Birdwood moving in, they might actually surprise you and be quite successful but I think that's what you might be scared of. Weak as pi$$.
