I think you can operate a boat without a licence but you have to do some piddly speed, 4 knots maximum I think.

They tell you the answers when doing the test.

need a boat licence

How much (approximately) it would cost for a retaining wall 1.0m high x 24m long and a retaining wall 0.8m high x 12 m long.

Either concrete sleeper or poured concrete retaining walls are required.

We are just trying to get a ball park figure for this and are trying to figure out if it would be closer to $15K or $50K

We lost, but was really proud of the boys... 5 of the 8 had never played before and we made 8/58 off the 16 overs... 6 of the wickets were runouts or stumped and I put that down to a lack of understanding what needed to happen. We got them 6/54 (with 5 wickets being bowled) so we went down on the old average rule.

I was surprised at the level of "chatter" happening while the other team was fielding... wasn't expecting it at all in an Yr 4/5 game. I made sure my boys encouraged each other and then when the bowler was running in be quiet... We didn't receive the same courtesy...

All in all though we all had fun and the boys are looking forward to their next game...

getting out for no runs is not 'fun' ask any boy who plays cricket at school level

playing for enjoyment is a better way of saying it.

I think average cricket is a good way for the youngsters to get introduced to the game and continue on.

this might be some help, but we got one built on one side of our block about 9 years ago, 22m long, and steps up in height from 1.5m to 3.8m and this one cost 26K

and one on the other side of our block, 15m long and 1m high which was about 8K

everytime I look out the sliding door to the big retaining wall, I picture what could have been a new car  but we seriously need the wall

Are warts common place these days? I don't think I've seen anyone with a wart for years (probably because I'm no longer in the younger age group I guess, but still).

Why does it take Telstra 4/5 working days to disconnect phone/internet at one place and then reconnect at another?
Ridiculous.

Agreed, absolutely ridiculous. We waited 10 working days for our internet/phone to be connected when we moved into our new home in June. As dedja, said Telstra = muppets!!
