I believe also he will be bringing Kym Vivian and Craig Hiskins with him.

Matt does have distant ties to the club with his father and cousin's playing at Angaston.

Good appointment by the club, he's a young guy with plenty of experience coaching young men. It's obviously not a quick fix and hopefully will reap the rewards in 2-3 years time.
If he and the club have the patience and save some biccies in the next 2 years while the young ones get another 40 games under their belt they can have a crack in 2015.

Must be close to the source Days, still looking for the rubber stamp for the approved applicant!
Having said that, Jamo has been seen deep in discussion with Matthew in the meat isle at Nuri Foodland.

Daisy had the inside word and was on the money, Matt Hermann has now been rubber stamped by the authorities.
Comes across as an impressive young man and will now begin to rebuild.

Herm is the modern man manager, but not even the best coaches have worked out how to pollish a turd yet.. shooby better open up the cheque book so he can build something that might stand up or its going to be a long season for the young mentor.

I was enjoying my regular Saturday punt at the Angas Park Hotel today.
The boys in the syndicate mentioned the Nuri Tigers Captain has walked in search for some cash up the road in the NEFL.
I wasn't really listening as I was cheering Dunaden down the last hundred, but think it was Riverton.
Salter has also been appointed for another year.

Not surprised by the knowledge Mr Nicholls has moved on... was chased hard last season by the hawks, only to knock back a near $800 a game offer to stay at nuri. Has what we could say "almost family" reasons for moving too.

So Salter has been re-apppointed, seems rather odd really. Nuri running out of money?

Any more concrete info on the coaching fronts at some of the other clubs?

This year must be Salters chance to shine, Byrnes boys due for another club and probably gone, and Nicholls already gone isn't a good way to start.
Unlike the traditional Nuri they have had a playing budget and recruited under his tenure.
Norton, Gibson and Gerhardy all sniffing around and waiting for the green light in the departure lounge is my mail down at the Angus Park today.
In other news at the Tanunda Club yesterday, its still not beers and skittles at Mettwurst Park.
My mail was there had been some recent communication with someone first or last name James? Could be some value in booking a taxi for Britton by round 10 is my mail?
AJ Prior is now officially gone and Nicky Schmidt all done bar the paper work.

What is going on at Kapunda with the coaching position-is Browny gone on own accord or has he been pushed and is it Buckets or Shelly to replace him.
Have not heard anything on the Freeling job they are leaving it late and surely this will impact on recruiting as most players have now been signed to contracts in 2013.
Am surprised Nicholls is leaving and would want to get that from a Nuri person before believing.
I know there is a connection there with his old man palying and coaching at Riverton but thought he was firmly entenched at the Nuri Tigers-
The Gawler tigers splashing the $$$$$$$$$$$$ around with big payments and big sign on fees been offered.
Is Casey Thomas , Brenda Nicholls and Charlie Molyenue heading back to the dog track?

I dunno about the coaching position but Browny looked pretty relaxed at the Celtic Festival yesterday.

Spoke to Cases Thomas last week, said he has already signed at the same club he played for last year.
Are you prepared to pay the price? WILL YOU PAY THE PRICE?

Molyneux already signed at Kilburn. Quite sure Williams will stay too.

Its Gawler Centrals turn to host the GF this year and have heard a whisper that it will be at the Dog Track this year provided the new facilities are completed.

They'll need a massive crowd on a very fine day spending plenty of money to be able to pay all the 'sign-on fees' and match payments they're throwing around.
They would have to be getting the council to pay for the new facilities, there'd be nought left in the kitty once these are paid.

Great to see Luke Wells is going well in Darwin.
His side has 1 win from 3 games and he has been in the best players in 2 games.
I am worried if he gets a long term injury and how the Maggies will cover him but good luck to him he has no job and is getting paid to play a game he loves.
Hearing at the Clubhouse last night a Gawler team not happy with a cross town rival trying to poach players with big sign on fee, huge weekly pay packet and a don't worry we will get you a clearance splurge.
Not a good way to start of relationships between clubs in season 2013.

Osama we know that you like to try and be comical but this is absolutely ridiculous and totally false to suggest that Britton is facing the chop and a certain James is set to take over. Britton in 2 seasons has finished 1st & 2nd, not too bad, your club holds onto coaches with far worse records than that.
