Couple of weddings and Harvest is what it tells me . Charlton far to good on our behalf and we are struggling again. But hey easy to pot from Adelaide and with the excellent cricket credentials that you have .

Leo averages 20.37 as an opening batsman in A3. That's pretty awesome Mark.

Thanks Dirk, always keen to hear how the other half live. You know the half that play top line A3 cricket and to have an average of 20.37 i can only just imagine the coin that he is on. Would not mind just sitting at the bar starry eyed listening to how he scored in every innings and when it got a bit too hard he would do something stupid and get himself out. But that would not stop him opening his mouth and saying something (only the real good cricketers can do this).
I hope you are gratefull that he take the little time out of his day to grace us with his great presence and offer wonderful advice that only top line cricketers can do.

Hey Star is there any way we could get Leo over for a speaking engagement on behalf of the PLCA, He can regale us with stories and sledges that he has handed out . Give us tips etc. Should be a sell out. Only problem being the appearance fee for such a big name

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Dirk and Mark without knowing who you are what is your cricket resume to be having a crack at others? and what would Port Lincoln cricket standard be like compared to Adelaide?

Haven't played PLCA for a few years, but I do remember a young Leonidis once hitting a ball off the square (just kidding lol).

While I haven't played A3, based on my experience in A1 & A2, the best 3 or 4 in each PLCA club (when I played) could have some success in A3 or A2.

Obviously the depth in a PLCA A-grade team is not as good as any A-grade Adelaide Turf XI.

Ahh loaded good to see you back always sticking up for the little man. As Leo is fast to have a crack at anything port lincoln ie both Cricket and Football, he will be big enough to look after himself.
Cricketing resume is no where near the obvious vast experience of what Leo brings to the table (only bit of Adelaide Turf and here ). As i said in the last message, in awe of the man who is averaging 20 in Adelaide Turf A3. More than happy for a man of this obvious talent to offer his quality opinion on the state of Lincoln cricket and football from over in Adelaide.

I'll be playing A3, be interesting to see who he plays for (I have no idea who leo is, for the record). I haven't played in Lincoln for years so if I get a trundle over here I'll make a comparison. I do remember totals not being high in my short time in Lincoln, at the bar quite early...beats the hell out of cricket! I was happy to have a game rained out when I think it was LS that had Wigney opening the bowling! Mind you, we had a quick lad at SES that was sometimes frightening in the nets, when his radar was a tad off.

Leo. Not a chip of the old ROCK. The old boy is still making runs in the Lincoln Bs. Genetics may have helped with the skill, maybe not the heart. Cheers for firing up the lower EP panel to comment on something tho. The Barnaby Joyce of EP sport

OL, A1 is next under District cricket grades. A club's best 'A' grade could be like my club, in A3. It can get hell confusing, then there are separate one-day grades! Loads of teams but still some clubs really scratching for numbers. It's all about the massive time commitment, wherever you go.

And to throw a spanner in the works some clubs have their B grade playing in the A grade divisions :?

So did the LSFC players or the LSFC itself shell out for all the tickets to the races at the weekend?
If it was the club, that's touching dangerous territory, isn't it?

And one senior player didn't exactly make the club look like a great environment, streaking the length of the straight.
