South will be the only Gawler side in the 4 next year, mark it down now if you like.

Doubt they will be the only gawler side if any next year. South under achieved with what they had last season, shows lee hasnt the capabilties to take a side to the top in BLG footy, Nuri learnt that? South got excited about a return to finals for some time and need to consult AMI, premature ending to what was hyped up way to much earlier in the year?

I think a number of things happened and managed to make the local papers, as it turns out there are some red faces as it is being dealt with by the authorities. Uncle Sam or Swooper may shed some more light!

can one of you Barossa blokes fill me in on Chris Gerhardy? He was assistant coach at nefl premier MinMan this year but am I right in assuming he played and coached at Nuriootpa and during the height of his career he played inter-association and Zone footy?

Sky Pilot I have done business with Chris as he is an accountant and seen him play for many years against Tanunda.
Represented the BLG many times and think he may have captianed team on several ocasions.
Fearless player who gave 110% every time he played.
Only problem with him is he played for Nuri and not the might Tanunda Magpies
Great player and a person with better credentials you would need to go a long way to find.
He has a brilliant footy brain and will make a wonderful coach when given the opportunity.
Some at Nuri where tipping he would take over this year from Salter but this did not eventuate.
Any club that gets his services as senior coach will be a big winner

Whoever has the job is already behind the 8 ball as most players already signed for 2013 season.
The coach would want to have 6 coming with as a package to have an impact in 2013.
Has Mensforth re-signed with Freeling and Schubert continuing to play next season.
Why wait so bloody long to make a decision?

Any news on Kapunda coach-my mail was either Buckets or Schell

As usual rumor bloody mongers trying to spread bull shit about TFC.
Typical tall poppy syndrome we in Aust famous for in attacking the best club in BLG for past decade
Several players stopped going to pubs in Valley for couple of months and that is all.
Club dealt with issue internally and professionally as always.
Difference with us is we keep these issues internal and other clubs should follow suit.
I could start rumors about other clubs and goings on by player and coaches but will not stoop that low
Swopper you may wish to comment further but I would not waste my time again to answer utter crap

Thanks Sam. I think you will find he will be tempted to coach a Northern Areas club.

Didn't realise Gerhardy helped Gibson at Min Man.
I thought their relationship took a turn and Gerhardy left the club after Gibson was given the Captaincy while Martin Leslie was coaching Nuri. What club has he applied for Sky?

The rumour is he hasn't applied for the job but a club has either approached him or is about to. I can't reveal that club because the current coach has not been advised of his possible boning yet

Possible boning, dont ya love footy clubs.
Can't imagine he would want to travel north for a 5 hour round trip 2-3 times a week with a young family. Although I think he has ambitions to coach Nuri one day and this would be his apprenticeship.

Still no news of Kapunda or Freeling's coaches yet? Still lots of mail on Gowans at Freeling being a reality - are you there Mahommed?
Kapunda have a coach, but still no announcement - not Browney I'm told, but like Freeling why the secrecy? Players are starting to jump ship at Bomberland, some big names going, going almost gone! The uncertainty over coach hasn't done them any favours for next year. Look for at least 6 departures - important outs.

Sounds as though Central have grown increasingly frustrated with Matt Westhoff and this will more than likely see him back at Tanunda.
