Just spoke with Michael Vigor, new Virginia FC president.

Spoke really well, seems like a really good appointment.

About 18 on the committee though, that could be a good thing or a bad thing, I'm not sure. Never seen or heard of such a large committee.
Right in front of me. RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!

You are correct Dizzee. All three signed yesterday. Willmake "solid" additions to the team with Ciccolella. Good pickups for a long term view and for team not money reasons. All friends of cluse who wanted them to play.

No disrepect. I love thought of being competitive but they all are pretty old.
Turrell 3 clubs in 4 years? EudundaRobertson 2010 - Kupunda 11/12 - Hwe 13???
Hope things turn out.

No older than Greenwood - like him suppose they're all looking to find somewhere to finish their footy before they're really old - you know like 30!

You said 2 pages back that it would be a joke if HWE got more than 12 points for 2013, and now you hope HWE have a better side next year for the sake of the league?

Yeh I did. Why should you get extra points after one bad year? Recruit well with what you have so games aren't over by quarter time.

Hope Im not changing tack too much with this comment but Im interested to know of examples of successful "extra points" cases. What would consitute a fair argument?

Good thing you're not on the Assoc Committe then as your narrow minded views would end up with a 4 club comp in no time. Its been two bad years and the joke is that the points are allocated from results over 4 years, which is a very long time in football, as I'm sure you'll find out.

How long are you going to play the we've won more flags line? 4 or 5 years now since the last one?

Spent a huge amount of $$$ to come second 3 times in a row

No more than any other APFL club, ok lets get into the discussion who pays what  be early to do that in November

Hey aka dont get into banter with blokes that dont know. There were 3 players in the league this year near or on $1000 a game and they wernt from virginia. If they only knew what the lads were getting they would be focusing their crap at the other clubs. And the rumor regarding brenno is spot on the figure is correct.Of course when gawler centrals had scooter and brenno the money was divided now they want brenno the moneys doubled.3 time leading goal kicker.Deserves the coin.Players in other clubs gettind twice as much with no return.Boys if youre gunna talk shit make sure its not on the nose.Lets see if you einsteins out there want to tell me im talking shit.

You seem to be in the know PD - prove that you're not talking 5hit. You trying to say that you know what everyone is earning in the APFL? C'mon how would you know? I think you are talking 5hit.

OnSong wrote:Maybe BigV or Pimpdaddy can confirm but following the election of the new club board, two sponsors , BTR and Izuzu have pulled their sponsorship, apparently worth $40,000.
That would leave a significant dent in any club coffers.
Would be vital to replace it to retain recruits like James, Russell, Wilkey, Mark etc.
Wheat sheaf hotel still staying on board, so that's one major sponsor hanging around.

If you're ever in the situation where you can claim to have won 4 A grade flags MH, I'm pretty certain you'd be the first to use such a line. I mean, you're using the 'reigning premiers' line after just one!! Thats one in how many years....? :D ;)
