TDK - Sold Out tonight for self titled album, limited tickets for tomorrow night. ( Self titled album again )

schimma - Was standing on the carpeted area to the left of the the mixing desk. Was a good size crowd last night, easy to get a beer and enough people to make an atmosphere.

Looking forward to Thursday night, got Friday off.

Ah, I heard that tonight was sold out but wasn't quite sure. It's going to be packed then.

Definitely no overtime on Friday (R.D.O)/Saturday this week for me after going to the Thursday and Friday night gigs.

Went last night and would go again tonight if I could (or was allowed!!). They are definitely one of my favourite live bands, I would have rather them play the self titled from back to front though, would have made for a better finish, still awesome show.

That's a good idea Tex and would have been awsome but oh well, it was still an amazing show. It was great to hear 'Have They Forgotten' and 'Trapped' live, 'Save the Day' and 'Fly Away' was good to hear live again aswell. Looking forward to Thursday night now!

And also, the Gov is a fantastic venue, it was pumping last night. I love the vibe of the place and size of it, not too big where you feel miles away from the stage and even if you're at the back you still have a decent view of the band. The beers go down a treat there too.

The 100% REAL Angels are back. Neeson, Spencer, Morley, Hilbun and Biddstrup. Love the look of this lineup!
Feb 22 - Vine Inn (Barossa)
Feb 23 - Bridgeway (this will bring back a few memories)

Also another to look forward to for us old rockers:
Neil Young & Crazy Horse - AEC 5/3
Last time I saw him was in the mid 80s in the Apollo Stadium!

The Living End's State of Emergency gig last night was awsome. It was great to hear them play one of my favourite TLE songs of mine in 'Order of the Day'. 'Wake Up' and 'Long Live the Weekend' were great too. Pumped for Modern ARTillery tonight now, can't wait to hear 'Hold Up'! :D

I'm fried. I got completely shit faced last night and woke up to a couple of emails from the boss asking me to come into work as I/we had snaffled a couple of giant orders that we had been working on for some weeks. I dragged my sorry arse in about 9:30 and have struggled big time.

About to pack up and head home.....rooted.

Just the album of the night, no encore whatsoever. On by 10pm and off by 11 sharp.

I looked up yesterday, they are playing 38 shows in around 50 days. No wonder they are not doing any encores....

Wish they could of done a covers/B sides night where they play Sunday Bloody Sunday, Tainted Love, Girls on Film, Witch Doctor, etc. or play one or two of them a night.

Well 'Hold Up' was brilliant, it went off! Song of the night and week for me. 'What Would You Do?', 'End of the World', 'One Said to the Other', 'Short Notice' were great too.

My mate who I went with last night brought his guitar last night and was lucky enough to Chris, Andy and Scott to sign it. We had a bit of a chat with Chris too which was great. He looked so tired but was still nice enough to come out and meet the fans. My mate asked him if he ever gets sick of playing certain songs and which songs he enjoys playing more. He didn't really name any he gets sick of playing but said he was glad that Prisoner of Society/Second Solution was part of a whole album now and that there were other songs to concentrate on, instead of them two being played on their own over and over. Chris mentioned that he enjoys playing songs such as 'Waiting for the Silence' because it's a bit more meaningful than some others.

Last night ended what was an awsome week for me. It'll be great if other bands I love consider doing what TLE are doing at the moment.

Pfft The Melvins just finished a US tour where they played 51 shows in 51 consecutive nights, one in every state plus Washington DC.

What would be a great show is The Descendents, Bouncing Souls, Frenzal Rhomb and Bodyjar, they are touring together everywhere but here! They fly over us to get to Perth FFS!
