Secondary withdrawal (if it occurs) tends to peak around days 11 to 14 since the last drink.
There is usually a gap of several days between the two withdrawal phases.

The secondary phase is the stage at which most of those who vow to "never drink again" go back to it.
(If betting on when in a pool I'd put my money on day 11.)

Is it possible for a hangover to last 2 days and infact get worse on the 2nd day?! ... seriously worse than I was yesterday .. getting too old for this crap!

I had this two weekends ago. Went out on the Saturday night, got drunk as a snunk then Sunday, which was a hot day, had a reasonable hangover which I thought I had recovered from pretty well despite a little headache. Got up as per normal for work on Monday, felt ok at first but as the day went on I felt worse and worse, felt really tired and lethargic, didn't even go to the gym after work because I was still feeling bad. I think combination of having 5 hours sleep on Saturday night (I can't sleep for long after I go out that night) and the hot Sunday were the cause of me feeling worse on the Monday.

...does anyone else think that "hi-vis" clothing is beginning to lose it's "hi-vis" impact?

With pretty much every person who does not work in an office ( and some that do! ) wearing orange/lime green/yellow hi-vis gear it, IMO ( and some I work with ) starting to have less impact, visually.

It used to really stand out but with such prolific use it is almost common place now instead of being some sort of warning device.
