Another question is when are points released for this league and how many will each side get?

What did they each have this yr OnSong??

Balaklava: 9
Hamley Bridge: 15
HWE: 10
Mallala: 8
Two Wells: 12
United: 12
Virginia: 9

These were worked out using the APP formula spreadsheet, so excuse possible errors but they should be accurate.

Will they follow other country models like the BLG from here? Would that mean starting the season a week earlier of finishing a week later like some other leagues.

2 finals on the same day at different venues obvioulsy wouldn't work with the possibility of different grades at different venues.

Anyone heard anything similar?

Northern Areas play the four finals on successive weekends. It means the winner of the Elimination final gets a week off the same as the winner of the Qualifying final. The system had its detractors at first, including moi, but we all got to like it and it works a treat.

I've got the original one sent to me a few years ago with the formulae in it. You just put the total wins in over the past four years and it give you the win percentage, then that percentage relates to a points allocation. I can email it to you?

I was chatting to a handful of the last few locals left playing A Grade footy at Virginia and they said if Phillips was coach again they would move elsewhere as they couldn't stand him anymore. I'm not sure Joss is a great replacement but the change may have been a necessary one.

Geoff Cocks replaced Kerry Michalanney. (Plains Producer, page 21)
With some players having the year off, it might be a tougher year for the reserves too but good luck to Geoff.
Congrats to Wah on a pretty successful tenure as well.

Sounds like it was nearing the situation they had at Hamley a couple of years ago....

Well I spoke to these boys weeks before there was even a decision made about Phillips so not sure if the board knew or not but they may have saved themselves from a mass walkout.

I think the old board had reappointed Phillips, or was going to.
Then the new board/committee was elected, and the numbers went the other way.
Who would have been involved in the walkout Ramsgate? We talk of local players, who is considered the locals?
