City clubs seem to be a bad rep for promising pay and not paying.

What about country clubs(and I can name one) who paid excessive money to 3 or 4 recruits up until mid July last season, worked out they wouldn't make finals then chopped their payments back to half. Nice operation to get involved with!

Would that be the footy club that you seem to say the nicest things about caramels and would love to associated with. if a player is paid big dollars and does stuff all to show for it, good on the club for giving him what hes worth, preformance based contracts are the way to go, would keep away those money men playing from league to league.

Certainly not, if you offer to pay you pay, if you want to be pricks about it the word soon spreads and it was a club down near the border that chopped the payments so beware all new recruits, it could happen to you.
I also think you have the wrong slant on where I would like to be BTW.

Will they be flying him home from the U.K every week?
Next years footy trip could be paid on his frequent flyer miles....

Stewie not sure you should be worrying about the Might Magpies, warm favs to take flag back in 2013 if the King is going to London to claim his throne.
I would be more worried about Ango and there troubles with Sugars, Bennett, Ruwoldt gone and no Pech or Harvey back to the hills.
Poor Hermy must be not sleeping at night and with all those points and still no signings could be another long year for the Panthers.
Any news fellas on the following

Nuri-Byrnes and Nicholls gone-Nash to North Adelaide not back to Nuri
Kapunda-Tyrells and McKinnons gone
Barossa-Aish-back to Norwood maybe a couple more gone also
Willaston-Gordon, McDonald,Pepe, M.McLean, J. Taylor, G. Taylor all gone- Johncock a maybe in
Centrals-Brading and J Scott back along with several Port ressie players-missed out on Nickalus
South-Bayliss,Scott,Geradis gone-big in with Paul Marshall back from CDFC- would have got drafted if he nominated-huge in
Freeling-Parish out to APFL and Leske may play in town as he missed out on coaching job
Ango-as above
Tanunda-dont need anymore but likely to get Westhoff back after short stay at North Adelaide and we will fly AK back each week as Ango did with Kingsley

Any other in and outs

No outs for Tanunda? Interesting.....
If young Goers comes up to A-Grade and adapts well, the maggies sadly will still be strong.
We will know more come March-April no doubt.
We here at Ango dont like to sing our success until the time is right.
Hermy and Co have been very busy and there are some INs already.
Will leave it to Osama to break the stories.
We have lost absolutely nothing with the clean out from last year, as our position on the ladder indicated.
Few INs for Nuri that I have heard, no midfielders though, so I am not sure who is getting the ball to their forward line.
Jarrad Byrne is out with travel, to go with Billy leaving. Foulis is back.

I hear they are paying old Sammy boy with peppercorns and wont offer any more because he's a local. Would want to be careful as some other clubs would love to have him..

Paget is also a big out for South, dont think they had a reserve ruckman last season. Heath Lawry to be captain in his third season?

Am hearing a BLG club has had talks with ex Collingwood player Leon Davis.Would be great for club and BLG but asking price is high and includes job, car and accomadation. Not sure which club at this stage.
Parish to Mallala and Leske to Broadview 2 big outs for Freeling if they eventuate.
Leske spewing that he was asked to coach by the committee and then they give job to Foster.

Ango to return the spoon to South.
Looks like they will struggle to field a side this year.
Not sure if all are confirmed but rumoured losses are
Bayliss, Scott, Gerardis, Paget, Trewren, Mussolino, Lee x2, Dare, Bartsch, Foldesdy
Only 1 in but a handy player in Marschall, looking like the dark days are returning for the Lions

Davis has been touted as going to that many clubs around the state, who would know where he goes. Interesting the way after an AFL career that would financially set them up, that they talk to country clubs about wanting jobs, a car, accomodation and a huge pay packet. Sorry but that just doesn't fit with me.

Surely they are not that stupid but then again they have appointed O"Connor again.
Heard they interviewed Chad O'Sullivan and he only wanted 15k to play and coach and rejected him for a guy that is well past his use by date.

Would be good for the comp to have neon Leon running around but at what price
