Anyway - who has the thunder got this week?
Boys Im being quite sincere here when I ask but who do you all think will make up the five this season? Its been asked before but the reason I ask now is from the paper sunday the top five sides seem pretty set even now but I think 6 and 7 are definate chances also. Very even grade.

Very unfair Billy - i saw #19 get at least 1 kick, im sure....

On a serious note though, true that Portland have given up good leads 2 weeks in a row and been over run, but the 2 weeks efforts cannot be compared. Against Mitcham, we were undisciplined and lazy after halftime. On the weekend, the guys commitment could not be questioned. There were basically no positives to saviour from the Mitcham clash, while the only negative (apart from not getting the points) from Saturday's game is more injury concerns.
Also, make no mistake, Watts, Hood, Woodrow, Robinson and Mcintee are great players - opposition sides should not underate them whatsoever - IMHO though, i think Dempsey is Haven's best player. If you can put a hold on him, then you will go along way to beating them. Wattsy was crucial for them on the weekend, he just let himself down with some undisciplined stuff in the 2nd quarter( i might add, he didnt win any admirers belting 18yo kids, half his size, but thats another issue!). This is my take on North Haven - Great midfield, great forward line, VERY fragile defense. This might sound harsh, and i wont name guys, but a couple of the guys in Haven's backline would struggle to get a game in our 2's. I know i will get shot down for saying that, but its my opinion.

true FM some sense and seriousness from you is like hens teeth. but salisbury, mitcham, para hills, north haven and portland should be the five, your right about 6-7 but i think they may shape the five rather than be in it. danger games against them for sides late in the year
