Wouldnt want to be paying too much for him, played a bit of league at Glenelg/Norwood but was a fringe player at best and that was a few years ago. Not sure how he has gone since

Almost single handedly won the 2011 D1 Grand Final for SHOC against Gaza. Can play booming left leg and good hands in a contest
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

So Nuri are relying on a Div 5 player to turn around their fortunes?

I reckon he played league footy in the premiership year at the Eagles, could be wrong, it may have been the year before

He was at the Eagles in 2011 where he played a few league games before going back to Woodville South in 2012.

And Jim, WS were Div 6 this year where the won the flag.

Days good guess
You are good at bagging people
Is that perhaps because you have always played second fiddle to someone else

Nothing wrong with my opinion, it is one that is shared by quite a few players, ex-players and supporters at Nuri.
Salter is most suited to coaching BSR where his brother would then be worthy of an A Grade game

why don't you put your hand up to coach then? Let me guess, its easier to sit on the sidelines and bag the bloke who won the job... Pathetic!

Don't think Days said he would do any better in the job, just that he feels the current coach has shortcomings.
Entitled to his opinion, as is everyone. And I know also there are others at that club that feel the same.
And no doubt others that think he is the right guy for the job.
Maybe right, maybe wrong.
Definitely right about his brother though....

Fair call, Stewie; everyone's entitled to their opinion. I tend to get a bit annoyed when "armchair" critics have a crack at coaches and how they perform when many times they have no idea of how hard that task can be and especially if that coach has a poor list of players or a bad club culture, etc. Having coached a bit with mixed success myself I know you need a thick skin and great resilience to survive and let's not forget that there can only be one premiership coach in every competition - it doesn't mean he is the best coach or that the other coaches are no good.

Days good work keep on stirring and I agree with you Salter is not the best coach going around in the BLG.
Have heard Angaston are chasing Michael Handby from I think North Adelaide-Stewie or the great Osma can you confirm and I believe young Loui Hadden is returning.
I am hearing some distressing news that the greatest ever ruckman in the history of the BLG Billy Wells is no certainty of returning from Darwin.
He may even be tempted by several huge offers from country Victoria.
What is happening with this money being thrown around this year-surely clubs will wake up soon that this money is killing football.
Players not even worth paying commanding $500 a game.
If he does not return Tanunda will need to replace him or we could be in some trouble competing against Barossa who have signed Cutting from Moonta.
