[quote="Steady Eddie"]Just on the North Haven v Portland Game.

The shocking umpiring (in which both sides were disadvantaged) i believe was a major part in the scuffles starting. Very frustrating.

Very true, perhaps the poorest effort from the umps that i have seen in the past couple of years. The problem is they think they are doing a good job. Don't get me wrong we need umpires, but the powers that be need to have a good look at themselves and their program and address the situation before someone gets hurt due to that "frustration"

Is it true that North Haven is paying more money for the new players than any club in div 1 can afford. Thats pretty funny for a club in so much debt. What happens next year when these current boys move on, or maybe the money runs out :o

Money won't run out, and wait until this weekend when another huge recruit steps out for the club.

Heater were you at the game Saturday? Was wondering why you guys used the oval closest to Unley Rd and not the one where the changerooms are directly behind the goals? That one looked in top nick.

On the making up of the final five situation, Mitcham still need to prove themselves I think. Have played the three bottom sides so far, and still have to play Salisbury, North Haven and Pooraka before the turn, will have a better indication of where they're at after Round 9.

Pultney surely will drop off the pace sooner than later and Mitcham will have ups and downs.
Pooraka a suprise packet along with Salisbury making up the more consistent clubs - Im putting it out there early but my tip is 2007 to be the year of the magpie.

I think Ingle Farms problem at the moment is all their gun players are playing in the C grade and don't want to take their footy that serious anymore and are out there just for a kick and a catch with their mates and a few beers afterwards.
There would be about 7 or 8 probably even more walk up starts for the A grade playing in their C4 team.

A grade full forward from last year is coaching the C's and they honestly just want to play with mates for a kick and a catch.
It is a gun side let me tell you that!

Undefeated? WHo they play against (I havent worked out how all the C2,3,4 works mate)
Thats surely not good for the club having players do that sought of thing, especially if they end up reeling at the end of the year.

Mooney (aka Jason Bradbrook) is coaching the C's and a lot of the blokes love him down the club and wanted to play under him with mates in the C's...Justin Mount, Billy Collins, Gary Williams, Gavin Mesecke, Dave McAuliffe, Andrew Owen all playing C's just to name a few.

Think a lot of them didn't want to play under the then A grade coach before he resigned.

Your kidding yourself rids, these guys are no longer walk up starts in the A'grade - there's only one of them you just named that are under 30 and he stopped playing years ago anyway. These guys should be alloud to play C's after having given the club great service but they are no longer what will help the club climb the ladder surely.

They're 4 - 1 sitting 2nd behind Mitcham....The B grade consequently are travelling very ordinary at the moment.
They play the C grades (with the exception of Uni) of the teams which are in Div 4.
