These guys should be alloud to play C's after having given the club great service but they are no longer what will help the club climb the ladder surely.

Reckon they would still make a difference up there and hold there own all quality players, but i agree with you these lads should be allowed to play wherever they like, they are icons of Ingle Farm and should be treated that way.

I agree that these blokes at Ingle Farm should be allowed to play C's if they chose - they have obviously had their time and served the club well. But when your B grade is struggling, you would hope that some of these guys would step up and help. I dont know the situation out there very well at all, but maybe the club decision makers should step in. I do know that a few weeks ago (round 2, i think), Ingle Farm were ringing around on a Friday night looking for B graders to play the next day. Surely this shouldnt happen if the C grade has good numbers. Its a difficult situation to be in though.

Very difficult, those blokes in the C's mentioned are all great players albeit getting on and enjoying C' grade. Im almost certain the farmers havent had u/17 in years so that wouldnt help.
Maybe they shouldve offered mooney the b grade job. I didnt know it was quite that bad that they were ringing around looking for blokes but lets admit it, it does happen everywhere almost.

I'm goin with Para Hills by 3-4 goal. They play the oval really well, and I'm not sure if Haven have anyone to stop Conrad Morris

Mayaswell, the Haven vs Para Hills clash should a corker - havent seen Para Hills yet, but a very good judge (Pag) reckons they are pretty good. I will go for them in a close one, reckon Haven might feel the effects of a hard game last Saturday.

I was just looking at the SAAFL site and saw that lucky Hocking from North Haven got reported. He would be the last bloke I would EVER expect to see on the tribunal list. Anyone know what happened there?

Sincerely the hills should be too strong at home, very good running side but far from physical so on a small oval teh hardness of havens should bring the game back level.
Best way to beat the Hills on there home deck is to play the road side of the oval - when shooting at the club rooms end you almost feel as though you are shooting down hill and the pocket is narrower. Stay out of the corridor through the centre, push to bridge road coming out of the back six and use the wing to run the ball. It will take smart quick play to utilise the wing therefor dont be afraid to switch play or even play back when there is a stoppage

Jesus - does that top sheedy's 3/4 time talk the other night or what?

Now the hills boys will get on here and tell me Im wrong no doubt.

yeah it shall be
dont know why he lost it though
was a typical scuffle with someone getting pulled off and then he let loose
bloke came off with blood all over his face
player that got hit reckons he copped a good one to the nose and mouth
looked it to!!!!!!!
must say the north haven boys got taught a bit of a lesson from a group of 18yr olds!!!!

What lesson did the group of 18yr olds teach north haven? I am not exactly sure what this means? did they win the fights or something? if so should they have been reported?

Think you might find he may have kneed someone in the head during the scuffle too. He was probably un-LUCKY (get it !!!) to get singled out, to be honest. There were plenty of punches being thrown, by both sides. I dont know if Haven were taught a lesson, Fisty. I think they may have been surprised by some of the Portland young blokes responses though. They did hold there own.
