Think you might find he may have kneed someone in the head during the scuffle too. He was probably un-LUCKY (get it !!!) to get singled out, to be honest. There were plenty of punches being thrown, by both sides. I dont know if Haven were taught a lesson, Fisty. I think they may have been surprised by some of the Portland young blokes responses though. They did hold there own.

Perhaps felch you are having more of a influence down there than many people think. Perhaps the young boys remember watching felch play in his hay day and have taken note of how to remonstrate when needed.

Well Demps, all i can say after the weekend is that the best player in D4 isnt Watts, Woodrow, McIntee or Hood (definately not the latter, although he may just have had a bad day). There is one guy running around for Haven who is streets ahead of these 4 blokes. For obvious reasons Haven dont want to name him in the paper, but opposition sides will surely have this guy marked every week. Cut Portland to shreds with his hard running and clean skills. Any guesses who this bloke might be ?

I watched Hoody play last year & I can tell you that you havent seen anything yet, everyone has a bad day every now & then & he is a GUN. I cant imagine a side having a better player than Matt in div 4.

You should get down and watch some D4 footy then Mayaswell - believe me, there are better players than Hood running around, not many, but there are. Hood is still a great player though.

i'd pick dempsey and woodrow before hood and probably pagent aswell i'm sure there are other players at other clubs i'v never seen b4 who are great players aswell hood is a very good player dont get me wrong at all but best player in div 4 thats a big call even rosewater have 1 bloke who is a gun cant remember his name tho. starts with an ' i ' from memory .
