Sounds fair, I might have to make an effort to come out & watch some more div 4 games then (still cant see how this division can have better players than Hoody but I will wait & see). Who should I go watch this weekend if I get a chance?

I'm not a Para Hills boy but thier midfield is full of bodies who don't mind a physical contest. Goodwin, the Mitchell brothers, young bloke called Nuske on a wing. They'll match it around the stoppages with Haven. Game will suit Woodrow I think though.

Not really interested in anyone or a team, I just want to watch some good footy & by the sounds of it there are some quality players playing in div 4 so I might have to watch a few more games.

Pag your kidding me arent ya mate, Goodwin physical? Run straight up to him at the first bounce and yell at 'Boo!' Nugget Nuske a physical wingman? The Mitchells? Salisbury arent softies in 07 again are they mate?
What did you think of my synopsis of playing there oval or have you not been there this year to date?

Maybe you misinterpreted me. I didn't mean those guys are gonna go out and run through blokes. I meant in body-on-body contests around the stoppages (and there will probably be a few of them), they will hold their own. Goodwin carved us up, and has 3 BOGs already for the year I think. Nuske isn't so much a physical player, but will get his share of it off his wing. Even with Demps, Woodrow, McIntee, Hood and whoever else North Haven want to throw in there, they won't have it all their own way.

I've been there this year mate, we played there in Round 2, and the Bridge Rd side of the ground was used for the majority of the day, espeically to the clubrooms end, so your synopsis of the ground is probably around the mark.

And as far as Salisbury being soft in 07 mate, I don't think so, we matched Haven in the wet and slog out at Largs North and took the points, not sure how many teams will do that this year...

Saw Para Hills V Unley on Saturday. Two very different sides, one team looked they did preseason the other looked as it may of watched people do preseason. The little blonde number 4 for Para Hills was good all day, played on ball. Heard he is only bout 18, should be playing in higher div in my opinion

That'd be Goodwin, think he's a bit older than 18, 21 or 22 I think.

not at this stage, havent seen ingle farm yet but they accounted for rosewater easily,
so obviously their only other chance is against unley.
unless teams go out thinking its going to be easy and
not play their best footy, there could be an upset but highly unlikey!!!
what is unley like, for those who have played them already?????

As bad as they are travelling this year, i think they might get an upset win somewhere.
So many times in the footy past has a shocking performing team gotten up in a game they were not meant to win.

Does anyone have their tips for this weeks Div4 matches?

Salisbury v Mitcham (in a close one)
Rosewater v Pooraka (need i comment)

you guys would know more about ingle farm, we havent played them yet. pulteney were reasonable, only because we let them into the game and made silly mistakes.
north haven v para hills game could go either way, i'm just taking a stab in the dark!
