Stewie or Osma and news on your big announcements of recruits it is slow in coming-my mail finding it tough to get recruits up to the Hills and having many knock backs.
So far only ruckman and Rusca - any more

Thank you for your interest in the welfare of the Panthers Sammy.
You will find it hard to hold down our new ruck man with no King Billy Coke Bottle Sambo.
Tell Jack I will drop in for a coldie tomorrow at the Clubhouse.
Some young kids returning in Will Falland, while Steve Bains boy will be returning from England.
Young Stevie Rusca will cause some headaches for other sides.
Josh Wittwer from CDFC is also coming, remember playing against his father in the Territory and might have even carved him up.
Panthers will win half a dozen in 2013, but will seriously contend in 2014 with Harvey, Pech, Hadden and Woodards expected to return.
Doecke and Kurtz have already committed to be available for he 2014 premiership photo.

One of those named above as moving to Angaston Osama I believe will not happen..

If Media Mike has finally got a story correct the best player in the BLG for the past 7 years Billy Wells is moving on to another pasture.
I am wearing black for the next week as a mark of respect for the big fella who has given magnificent service to the Magpies and is certainly a big reason for our successs over the past 5 years.
I am sure Billy will return and pull on the black & white jumper again.
It will be sureal watching the Magpies run out in the first round against Willaston without the gentle giant.
Stuffed if I know who will ruck without Billy and Baz and as we have only got 3 points to play with(how does this happen)we need a ruckman ASAP.
Jack will have a plan I am sure to cover Billy otherwise Barossa will go through undeafeted in 2013.
Good luck Billy you are a champion and will be missed.
Osma please no response I am in mourning.

Sorry Sammy, feel I need to respond, will be good for your therapy.
Was all confirmed when Billy invited me around Uncle Jacks house for going away drinks earlier this week.
You have been in dinial for months about this subject Sammy.
Maybe Daniel Burgan is your man to lead the ruck!

Interesting comments Sam - please clarify just who at GC have been "carrying on" (as you put it) by the way perhaps you should get your spelling right; that would be a good start. Haven't heard any outlandish predictions from anyone at the dog track. Yes, they have picked up a few handy recruits but it would be naive at this stage to suggest that they could challenge either Barossa or Tanunda for the 2013 flag. Will be far more competitive though - depth will be better this year.

Ive heard a rumour a few central district players are in trouble over an incident that happened over the weekend. Dont know the specifics but sounds like some country clubs may be getting some players sent back to them...

Its a shame that the big fella Wells has left, his work rate is ridiculous. How many of the senior colts premiership side are you guys expecting to play A's this year??

Rabish or is it Rubbish I only went to grade 7 I was out working in the vineyards so excuse me if my spelling is not up to your expectations you probably went to Trinity and walk around with a broom up you know where.
For the last umpteen years Centrals have always been classified as Easter Premiers and failed in the finals every year(is that butter spelling)
I hope you are more competitive this year so that mob on the terraces that carry on all day don't blame umpires when you are getting belted like last year.
Bring on tommorrow so we can see if rumors about clearances in and out are factual.Wish they had spell check on this forum

Barossa Districts would look like they are the hot favourite again, with some great pick-ups

Taunuda as always will be very strong and Gawler Central look like they will press also.

Cant see anyone else getting over the top of these 3 this year. A race in 3 for the flag.

Yardy normally you speak a fair bit of crap but your comparisions with A1 and BLG is fairly accurate.
However you fail to acknowledge that all A1 teams are on 15 points while the Might Magpies are only on 3 points.
Give us 4 extra quality players that we can afford and we would not only be a top four side but we would play in the GF and probably take away the choclates.
It stinks that SAAFL still giive all their teeams 15 points and we have that stupid sliding scale.
And while I am at it the BLGFA rule that no clearances inter league is the best rule we have as it stops clubs poaching players from within.
Bloody South tried changing the rule due to missing out on Fry and trying to back door clubs with Dunne.
South really think clubs that stupid and try to get away with rule change at AGM.
Seems we are having not many in's this year for BLG teams or do we need to wait until clearances start next week to have clubs play there cards.

Thanks for that Uncle Sam. Geez.....and you think others speak a fair bit of crap. Good to see you are not just restricted to speaking crap about points at AGM's to delegates, but with most things on here.
Again, you go down the path of speaking crap with thinking that Tanunda would have a chance of picking up the "chocolates" at D1 level of the SAAFL. Just a little bit naive there champ, but keep at it and you will get there......one day.
I said Tanunda, would just play D1 in the SAAFL competition and them picking up 4 more players, would only make them into a finals side and they would still be a country mile away, from winning the flag.
The Barossa league is a fantastic competition and has many outstanding qualities that the SAAFL do not have, such as atmosphere at finals or Grand Finals, but the standard of the SAAFL is absolutely top notch.

The biggest problem that Tanunda would face is playing quality opposition each week. At the moment they play only a few sides that challenge them, as many of the sides in the Barossa League are of D2 standard and down the D3. Playing quality sides week in and week out, with probably only two sides being average would be the thing that gets them. They in effect, they would need another 5-6 players to cover for the injuries they would sustain, and playing at a higher level, that they were not accustomed. Their depth would be seriously tested, if they tried to compete at D1 level.

If you want the extra points or 15 points per side, I am sure that you could manage it in your position. If your decisions makers still give you a sliding scale of points, then replace them, on competency grounds.

Next time champ, think about it a bit more before responding, with something silly and fictional.

By whom Sammy? I can assure you the lid is well and truly on things down at the Dog Track. We expect to win a few more games than last year but that would be it at this stage...

And I can confirm that Rabish Binney certainly did not attend Trinity College. In fact, the school was still some of the Adelaide Plains' finest farmland when he 'Matriculated' (is that what you called it back then?)

Jeez Sam, maybe you should take a couple of Bex and have a lie down. I merely requested as to who at GC had been "carrying on" (your words) about the impending 2013 season, as I heave neither seen nor heard anything of the sort.

And no, I didn't go to Trinity for your information. No such thing as Private Schools back in my day.
