I went out to training last night and didn't see Haseldine training. I asked around and he hasn't signed with the club.
So you can end that rumour.
All this talk about each recruits player payments happens every year with nobody knowing any true figures.
I agree they would all be getting paid but $800-$1000 a game each? Poor Newton and Schahinger motors would be filing for bankruptcy

For every import that stays 3 to 5 years at a club you get plenty of these blokes that do nothing for your club except push up your footy budget.

I was told last night from an EXTREMELY reliable source that they've gone to a Plains club for $900 each a game so wondering whether they signed something previous and it's been held - and whether we will see another clearance request after this one has been cleared?

Keep up with it FC, i mentioned two weeks ago that they are going to Untied, If think you are correct that they signed at Gaza pre christmas but had a change of heart or a better offer was forth coming from United They have been training out at long plains, interesting times ahead with this one.

Blokes like this are a joke, Gaza should hold them to their contract!
If they don't want to play for Gaza, then they sit out a year, let's face it if they are just off chasing the highest $$$ footy would be better off without them.

1) Would set a good example to other clubs of how to combat the $$$, if clubs start holding blokes to contract, player payments won't keep escalating at this rate

2) What sort of bloke/s start negotiations with a club when they have already signed at another!

wasn't heresay at all, come from a family source, Gaza still went ahead put in a clearance for them when they new they didn't want to play at Gaza. I think this one will be heading to the community fooball board.

Given the APFL play 16 minor round games per year. $1800 per week for 2 players from the Div 4 amatuers = $28,800 for the season
