Barker 10 goals- Hahndorf recruited poorly... not enough young talent
Uraidla 10 goals- Doggies with too many holes due to injury, coming up against the side to beat!!!
Lobey 13 points- Dare i say it Danger game for lobethal...
Ironbank 4 goals- Just seem to have the balance right between young talent and recruits... 2007's Dark Horse???
Re the upset, where do you see Blackwood winning it?
It's not neccasarily that i think Blackwood are a better side, it's more that i'd like to see a close game and areas which they may have the upperhand include; Pressure on the ball carrier!!!! Gigney could destroy a team across half back if given the chance (who's the likely match up?), Allen has found his form of last year with 12 goals last week, along with solid contributors like Rowett and Cahill to mention a couple and the experience many of the players have could be a decisive factor. Not to mention the way they utilise the home ground advantage... There are not too many teams who make the trip to Windy Hill and adapt straight away!!! Will be a good game for the teams involved to see where they are at in terms of their pursuit for the 2007 flag and for other teams!!!

You will need Michael Johnson on Racer to keep up (if he plays in the forwards) and you will need tony Lockett down the other end to kick goals for the woods (and you will neeed to make sure Pagey drags out those leather pants again).
Mate seriously, do you know why the woods are sitting where they are? Look at the start of their season, they beat Ironbank then they had Lobethal, Bridgy and Birdwood. Now wonder they are sitting where they are!! Im all for the underdog winning but i dont think this will be the occasion, of course i have been wrong before.
cmon mate, admit your concerned about the game. Your sounding like lofty are 4-0 and are playing at Heathfield on a Sat Night...
I am tipping lofty (only just) but it defiantly wont be a walk in the park like your making it out to be.
Congrats to Marcus Jones for his first A grade game, about time.

Ummm, well aware Lofty arent 4-0 but it, like may clubs, takes a few weeks to find your feet, especially when you are missing people like Ben Gordon and you need to find other players to step up to that position. A 215 point drumming from last week shouldnt be played down and and dont forget we beat them by 100 points at windy hill last year as well as at home.
i know Blackwood did make the top 5 last year, but i still think the win will be more than a couple of goals.Thats my opinion and ive expressed it. Done.

interesting you are that confident when u yourself said "takes a few weeks to find your feet, especially when you are missing people like Ben Gordon and you need to find other players to step up to that position." The question obviously poses that if you yourself have seen that he and Wait aren't playing have you found these players to fill their shoes??? Marcus Jones is a good player but can he fill Gordon or Wait's position??? I'd be confident in saying Paechy Can't... Fair Call??? They are indeed your replacements.... So has the team found their feet???

Hey confidence is all i have, do you want me to go into a game thinking we are going lose. We obviously found our feet last week didnt we? 215 points, need i remind you!? Clearly Racer filled Gordons position and White did a damn good job as well, 19 goals between them in not mean feat.

Hahndorf or Blackwood... Who's the better team???
Blackwood!!! I'm not here to bag out Lofty but you have to look at the two sides this year. Not the team you beat by 100 points last year cos that counts for nothing!!! Beating an ordinary team by 215 points is great effort... But the good wins and the one's which are most important come against quality opposition...

Interesting shake n bake, Hahndorf finished above Blackwood last year in the standings, not quite sure what has happened to them this year they have had a very 'easy' start to the season with Bridgy and Birdwood. Ahh well, lets agree to disagree, if the Woods do beat us on Saturday then ill take all the crap you want to throw at me on Monday, but im pretty confident that ill be giving it all back to you. Devils by 7-10ish goals (ohhh, let the insults fly, come on wolverine, give me your best).

Good chat...good chat.
Shake N Bake - in regards to filling positions, on his day (like last week) Lofty would surely be looking towards White to fill shoes. I also assume that Fleet is still there? Or still out with a heart..er, hammy.
Seriously, even if white brings it to the deck, lofty should have too much run.
I'd play Racer as an extra half forward and leave the 50 pretty clear for White, then SWOOP in.
