Interesting name...is it the 50yr old Port, Melbourne and Adelaide player, the one that played about 2 games for Melbourne or yet another? Coming from Mildura but can't see any games played there in recent years

I see Wilunga have signed Daniel Butcher from Onkas in the HFL! Big pick up, didn't realize they had that type of money hanging around?

Hey FOD, I hear Kym White has been out on the track. Your midfield looks fairly handy!

Re: Great Southern Football League
We certainly all get caught up in who pays what and which player gets more than the next!
In the end the $$$ are out there, go chase it boys! Some clubs pay more but we'll never truly know exactly what every player gets and im sure that when people do know, they'll never release the true figure as there would be egg on face if the player turns out to be average when getting paid big bucks. Always a feather in the cap when a marquee player you hear is on big $$ gets stitched up by a local! Its part and parcel of country footy these days, clubs work within their budgets, some are just lucky enough to have larger budgets than others!
Looking forward to a ripping season of GSFL footy, providing we dont see a flood of outs in the clearances it looks as though the ins are far outweighing the outs! Well done to all clubs on their recruiting so far, and im sure there are a few more names to float in before Round 1!
Any predictions now we've seen a few names pop up as to the early front runners for 2013?

Re: Great Southern Football League
Based on clearances alone, I can't see a side that hasn't improved and knowing what we know from the outside looking in you can't question the quality of each clubs top 15. So who has the depth and who will be injury free? The 15th player onwards could be the key.

Agree. I still think Willunga and the Creek are a fair way ahead of the rest with Victor closing. 4th down is anyones guess, injuries will play a big part.

I thought Langhorne's had lost quite a few players this year?
The only time i've ever been wrong...was when I thought I was wrong!!!
