FT
Porto 1-0 Malaga
Arsenal 1-3 Bayern
Arsenal as good as done, no team goes to Munich and scores three.

dont watch the champions league as i have announced on numerous times, champions league is for CHAMPIONS, not runners up.

Wilshere did and interview after the match i saw on facebook today and he was in tears.

I know you have said before but it's still a ridiculous comment.

It would be a pointless, boring competition if only the League winners qualified. No Bayern or Barca for a start, let alone United.

I kind of agree with Bully, maybe they need to change the name back to the old European Cup.
Happy with the format but not the name

Do you honestly think the premier club competition in the world should consist of just 1 team from the top leagues? The rest to be made up of the champions from the likes of Cyprus and Moldova?

You two are taking the name of the competition far too literally. Champions League sounds better and is more marketable than European Cup.

If only the League winners were allowed to participate then United would not have won the treble in 99 - do you think they didn't deserve to participate that season?

I dont like the name and I dont like that 3rd and 4th are in it. Top 2 only for me.

Great result for Milan.

Always good to see Barca lose even if it is to an Italian side.

I am no Milan fan but I hate barca and what they stand for (not questioning there football skill, just the way they go about things) so I was rather happy with that result anyway Europa league is where its at ;)
The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

maybe the wrong phrase used by me.

I dont like barca, how the behave on the football pitch (surrounding refs all looking for the other players to get carded etc) and even how they play (respect there skill however)

i like fish and chips....but they had to turned it into calamari and patatas

Great pressure by United, Ramos with an OG early in the second half.

Disgraceful decision by the ref, gives a straight red to Nani. Both guys were going for the ball.

Madrid attacking in waves, defenders doing a great job so far but a massive ask to keep them out
