What happened to Goolwa down at rapid bay making 4/385!!! What would have been the highest score in the A grade in the last 5 to 10 years??? Surely that would have to be up there? I remember playing in a game where a side made 364 about 7 years ago!!!

Looking back through the records of the last 10 years or so, I cannot remember a score that High, must have been quite a few shots played, well done to Scotty Day and Jake Kuss, the goolwa lads certainly havent had much to cheer about this year, but that is a great effort, Big Kong and Bennett if they get going could give it a shake.

Great call Vass...

I think Elliot have capitulated, and Goolwa making 385 and being competitive, will be a good team considering Evans comes back next year, Elliot have a good side on paper most weeks but only Clarke really respects his wicket most week, Both a great bunch of lads having a crack though. Be happy to play in either team.

I think a good part about our league is the way Most teams get on against each other, sure there is some "White Line Fever" most weeks, but most teams stick back for a beer and a chat after games, which is something great about the way the association operates. Good luck to all teams this week and all teams operating in finals. Encounter bay big favourites, but Finals especially in the past 10 years has thrown up many a surprise come March.

Heard a whisper that Jake Grenfell has been banned from alcohol consumption on Friday nights...? Can anyone confirm this...
If true... This kid will be a scary prospect over the next 3 weeks! Only ever seen him play with a hangover!!!

Took him 2 hours to recover. Thought we may have lost him at one point.

Great tactics by the little man ... getting the annual March batting collapse out the way before finals!
