I got pinned for sliding into oppositions legs on the weekend.
I dived in head first and collected the ball all in one motion.
And gave away a free kick.
Is this rule in place in our league this year?

just interested in what league umpires where these? a couple of yrs back at u15 assocation,our players got done for running in behinds as at the time our league didnt have the rule but the umpire in charge from nefl was going on there league rules,confusion plus

I don't think it will be, Dougy usually makes the umpires keep it simple and avoids introducing the silly new rules the AFL makes up.

I've heard of a few chicks being done for sliding players between their legs.
