Two wells 40+ over a side that beat Mallala by 1 point, very interesting call. If this is the case perhaps the league this year won't be as close as all the pre season talk suggested....

April 27th will see CDFC with a bye, will Young Goody be playing at HBFC, that is the question. Personally, and for HBFC and the league, I hope that he is.

Just thought I'd throw something crazy in there to break away from the pack is all. Not too much thought behind it

Virginia's Justin Stoyanoff also has done a PCL and should miss a few months.

On a brighter note, it's good to hear Brad Griffiths going well after his knee issues from the past few seasons.

I was standing stayanoff when he injured himself and it looked quite bad. All he was doing was taking his first step in a lead when it happened

He did come off and iced it up before the end of the match. Hammies can be a month or so, I'd expect him to probably miss at least one match after the bye this week.

Virginia needed to share on the weekend, as did Hamley Bridge. Not sure what happened between HWE and United.

How's Hamley going? Heard a lot of pre-season hype that they were going to be invincible this year. I gather they're top of the ladder with an imposing percentage?
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep

No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

Going on Saturday's list, correct me if Im wrong, but this is how I see there points.
Armstrong - 3
V Thach - 2
Greenwod - 3
Hasledine - 3
Zanandrea - 3
W Thach - 2
Taylor - 2
Flynn - 2
Parsons - 3
Herberle - 2
Hanson - 2

Thats 27 points
I must have miscalculated a couple of players cause thats a fecking lot of points.

Aside from Taylor and Greenwood who were clearly HBs best, the number of points would likely mirror the number of touches they all got too.

I know it's all in good humour but what hamley are doing is good for the comp. they are recruiting big to become competitive. It would be easy for a small club who have been bottom of the ladder for a longtime in most grades to fold or merge. I know a lot of juniors come across and play for us from year to year due to school and convenience, which can't help the club situation. Neither does the town population size or the small area they have to draw players from. i hope they have a successful year, the older people around the club and the loyal local players deserve to see success! And let's be honest you don't ever want to lose a club from a 7 team competition, let alone lose a club from any league.
