not quite Felch, 9 in front at the end after being close for the first half and POS only 5 pts down at the long break................ The lads then went to sleep and got smashed. Very disappointing thats 3 games in a row where we have been a chance and blown the bloody lot.

Care to elaborate on that? You're asking for some backlash if you're gonna say that in a Div 4 Forum. How are Henley's A Grade going, by the way? :P

Well said.If Poorland was well run then perhaps they may have kept those good players at the club ie. Marshall, Lees, Anderson. It is obvious that it is not a good place to play footy. And leesy is an old Ethelton boy so if anyone would stay it would be him. So go on Poorland stick your head in the sand again and keep on going the way your goingand before you know it you will be playing Ovingham.

Heres a question for you Ouzo - how many players from Haven's A grade played juniors there ? How many of them are just there for the money ? I can tell you that Portland probably had 2 guys in Saturday's A grade that were not Portland born and bred. i know what you are going to say, yeah, we lost, but that same group of blokes had you guys under the pump a couple of weeks ago. As for the blokes you mentioned who left, ask Leesy if he has any bad feeling towards the place. The only reason he is playing at Haven is because he lives across the road. Mind you, he was living in the country for a couple of years too. Ando is a top bloke, but he goes where the money is - dont forget he was at Rosewater the last 2-3 years. The only reason you have him is that they are broke. And Marshy, well we will just wait and see where he finishes his career. In all fairness, he is an absolute gun and probably should have gone and played D1-D2 alot sooner. I know he reads this forum, and i know what club he thinks is better out of Haven and Portland.
Now for Sharkers01 - i dont normally result to personal insults on here, but you are a dead set moron. Get your facts right before you open your trap. The cricket club and footy club are run entirely seperate from each other. Neither one is reliant on the other to survive. Im guessing you are from Port cricket club - if that is the case, you probably arent in the best position to be hanging cr@p on other clubs. What does typical D4 footy club mean anyway ? Im also guessing you are just trolling for a bite, if thats the case.... :butthead:

felch that is a stupid comment. every club has players there from other clubs. if they have the money to do so. and Success breeds Success and if you have a few good years now. you will have kids playing in the As in two years. and if you are a whinging cause your from pooraka.

Joker, i think you are missing my point. Nothing wrong with recruiting players at all. All im saying is that Ouzo may want to look in his own backyard before he bags others.
As for the Pooraka comment - WTF !!! :?
Who mentioned Pooraka ?
Might i suggest you read the comments posted a little more carefully. 8)

Wo are you to talk ouzo. Not sure where your from but i believe you are from the North Haven FC and if thats the case are there no mirrors in your house. Your club is a disgrace the highest footy your club has played in the last 10 years has been div 4. What sort of development is that. At least Portland has won a flag. And if you think that throwing money around at a few westies boys will help your cause you are kidding yourself. Money breeds greediness not loyalty.
