well you couldnt have seen them last week as you were at hamley weren't you  you cant judge them on one game you've watched them play looks like a few guns have missed out at Mallala

Joel Montgomerie should be a walk up start for the squad. It's probably just an oversight at this stage.

Maybe people are looking at the squad the wrong way.

If Barnett has enough players to cover every position twice, then if a bloke has a niggle, he may not SELECT him for the team rather than him be unavailable for selection, therefore avoiding a week suspension.

He may be trying to do the righting by people rather than annoy people by getting them out to training. People with niggles may have also been left out of the squad for this reason. Hasnt Montgomerie had some injury concerns this year?

Or maybe Barnett is just trying to piss people off, I hear he likes doing that.

I think the current selections are a reflection on the strength and quality of player(s) coming through the league currently which must be a positive for the league as a whole, I would go so far as to say the APFL side may even win this year.

If you broke it down into categories it would make selection tricky, you couldn't go wrong. Like Tall Forwards, there are so many quality ones to choose from, the on-ball brigade would be quality aswell.

Really RooShoot? I don't think Barnett or anyone for that matter would stuff around with something as important as association selection just to piss someone off.
