O'Brien was great In the first game. Heberle was better over the two games. Whoever put in Big Nik as third best after his comical performance wasn't watching the game. Discrace to the APFL, VFC and himself.

agree agree agree, just wasn't interested in being out there at all,one stage was leaning on the goal post, could have been a destroyer in the final but didn't even lead or anything, hes a lot better than that

Apparently V Thatch was crying in the change rooms after the game cause he missed out on zone selection .also has a sore ass from sitting on the pine a fair bit.

I'm sure he was not the only one who didn't want to be there. It's the worst carnival set out I have seen. 3 Hours in between games. Nicko hasn't played the last few years so y pick him. He enjoys a week off like most players would

Yep - well I'll go as far to say that Red might be wondering when it's time (like 3/4 time in the PL final) whether he'll be staring at blank faces like today - when there's no more cheques coming...

Hamley get paid in finals. Experienced journeymen don't make the rookie mistake of not putting that in their contracts.

Totally agree AKA. Another player was forced to play despite having an injured knee. He was clearly struggling to run and actually reinjured his knee in the second game. This guy may or may not have given the president a mouthful when they crossed paths late in the game.

There should be a form to fill out at the start of each year to indicate if you want to play assoc or not, would solve a shite load of problems.
