Anything to do with the history of the SANFL

Sturt Mascot Toy

Postby csbowes » Mon Jun 10, 2013 9:52 pm

I'm trying to find someone who has the 1980s plush toy of the Sturt mascot...

I'm happy to part with cash....

... or trade a bunch of SANFL and/or Sturt memorabilia for it. For example, I have the entire set of 40 x 1964 Mobil SANFL football cards in their original album, happy to start with that as a trade.

So if anyone has one or knows of someone who has one and is willing to part with it, let me know...

Seen the odd mascot pop up on eBay.

West Torrens Eagle went for about $50 in April.

Oh and, if anyone still has my Magpie mascot that I accidentally left in the fence behind the northern goals at Footy Park in '83, i'd love to have it back!

I thought you already got one a while back, as in the pic?

I just posted in the trading forum - need a Panther to complete the set :)

Unfortunately that mascot was RB's (off this forum)...

... obviously being a good mate of mine, I'm sure he's considering giving it to me for free! :-)

That's the smaller version right? We went overseas last year and boxed up a lot of stuff. I know I have a little Norwood fella* out there somewhere. If you have no luck finding him, it's yours (if I can find it!)

I've got a cardboard box in the garage *somewhere* with a little Norwood guy and Sturt guy, and a full size Tiger. But we can't find it - I had all the other ones in one box. I promise I'll keep looking though
