Hamley beat two wells in a junior colts GF back in 2001. How many hamley players are left from then? They have had teams play in grand finals since as well so it's the clubs fault they haven't been able to hold them. Majority of Two wells current A graders grew up watching the A grade get pumped for years including a winless season. I agree with mallalas recruiter when he says its the clubs responsibility to hold onto as many locals as they can.

Is it the plan to have no locals in your team at all?

Just keep crying "poor old Hamley" to the league everytime you need more points

Be interested to know what other clubs are doing this. My guess would be none.

I said 'not the first club', but didn't infer a club this year in the APFL. It's quite normal to over allocate, nothing untoward.

How do you think a town with a poplation of 600 can field a strong and competative team in the competition...?

merely justifying that fact that a population of 600 is most definately a sustainable population for a small country footy club that is only 15 minutes from Gawler and less than a hour from Adelaide..

Some interesting statements. However it's not the population that sustains a club (although it helps). It's the ability to maintain the increasing cost to run a club. Sponsors and donors. The single point of failure is a big worry for Hamley in this regard.
