spoke to Craig Taylor last night he was saying " if Hamley win the flag he will be hanging the boots up. 20 years of getting the hard ball has damaged is body, and his body is just not coping atm." He wished he was a soft footballer like K herbele so that he could play till he is 50 like hebs.

Isn't Hebs 50 already? That bald spot had me thinking he had already reached that milestone...

My prediction - K Heberle, A Turrell, H Walker
I also reckon no more than 15 votes will win it.

Hebs is a fossil. Adam or Andrew Turrell?
R.Appleton, J.Cicolella, J.Earl.
Aaron Cocks as a smoky.

hebs may be a fossil but to be in the teams top 3 or 4 every week means he is doing something right, and considering the are in the top 2, he'll grab some votes. im presuming its Adam Turrell, didnt andrew miss the complete first half of the season. if thats the case you've stated 3 big men to win the medal.
i reckon Pym will score some strong votes for his play.

In bold is what I'm thinking. And yes, Adam Turrell.

BTW, just read the Producer and noted the comments of Eagles coach David Cluse, regarding his assessment of the Hamley Bridge side. In the vernacular of Bugs Bunny, "Them's fightin' words!"
If I was Ash Barnett, I'd have those two paragraphs photocopied and enlarged, then stick it up in the visitors' changerooms at Lochiel Oval around 2.00 pm on August 10th........

HaHa, Cant confirm or Deny that Dizz, as I haven't been to Swish myself in years... But after watching the last few HWE games, it wouldn't be such a stretch to suggest he could go reasonably close, despite the position on the ladder. Yet to see an opposing Ruckman get a hitout for 3 games i reckon. The bloke who represented our fine league at the Landmark Cup was dragged from him last week, only to see his 5 foot 9 midfielder take the ruck taps and do a better job of it, fair kick in the guts i thought for big James!
Unfortunately for Hummocks, games aren't won in the Ruck.

I'd be more concerned about upcoming games Mallala and Two Wells personally, but you go right ahead and save that fire, that "fight" for the game against hummocks. If you think that type of gee up is really necessary going into a minor round game against the bottom side, then maybe the Hummocks coach has a point Roo?
