No Heberle? interesting. i think he will poll very well. has been in very good form

I will put $20 on Heberle and Thach at $31

Save your money bomber. Get on Montgomerie at $3.50, that's some serious overs.

Not sure if this is anything to go on but in Joel's winning season last year, he played all 16 matches and was in the best players 12 times.

He has played 11 of 12 to date for four best player appearances.

Dale King has nine best player appearances to date.

Heath Pym has made the best 11 times of 13 games, after making the best 12 times from 16 matches last season.

He also averages more than a goal a game this year, as he did in 2012.

Pym also polls well despite the performances of the team as per the below:

2012:
Round 2 - Loss by 17 points to HWE: 1 vote
Round 3 - Draw to HB: 2 votes
Round 9 - Win over HWE by 10 points: 3 votes
Round 10 - Loss by 43 points to Mallala: 1 vote
Round 11 - Win over Hamley Bridge by six points: 2 votes
Round 13 - Loss to Balaklava by 86 points: 2 votes
Round 15 - Loss to Two Wells by 130 points: 1 vote
Round 16 - Win over HWE by 41 points: 3 votes
Round 17 - Loss to Mallala by 69 points: 1 vote
Round 18 - Loss to HB by 23 points: 2 votes
Round 19 - Loss to Virginia by 29 points: 1 vote

The next best vote getter from United was Ali Fleming, who polled 3 votes.

Personally, I don't feel he is in as good a form as he was last season. Plus this season, Ettridge and Faulkner will almost certainly steel a few votes.

In addition, I think you'll find that not all clubs put their actual best six players in the paper each week, ala Hamley Bridge.

Love your work Onsong, as much as I would love little Round Up to win, I think there are others who may steal that 1 vote in a losing game as big Koby will probably jag a few of those.
I like your thinking and I reckon that Ciccy is your man to be on if you are going to back a "last years Pym" so to speak.
Nobody else from Hummocks will take votes from him and he will get a lot of 1's and maybe a couple of 2's
Big Nik or Robertson from Virginia aren't in the market, but they would be my top 2 from Virginia.

Ah yes! Ciccy! Huge in the two wins as well. Missed a few matches though, while Round Up hasn't missed any. Round Up? Where the hell did that come from?

I get a feeling ciccy bickers a bit too much to the umps to pull their votes, Pym is the best bet I think, then one of mallalas stars.

Most nicknames come from stupid stuff and sound silly when trying to explain the origin.

Tips time!
HB 1-39 The Bombers will not be caught unaware this time and will want to prove the upset Rooster win at the last encounter was an aberration
M 40+ Top versus bottom, and that's the way the scoreboard will look at the end of this match. The Eagles will be best served by blooding some more colts for the future
V 40+ Rams should be ruthless against the still improving United as they tune up for a finals campaign. Tigers will have a crack though.
