One of the few current day commentators I admire - doesn't talk shit, doesn't care about stepping on some toes. Calls it as he sees it - plenty could learn from him.

Thats all he does. He is the reason i fast forward 20 minutes of AFL 360 on wednesdays.

Apparently has some interesting things to say about his time at Carlton as an assistant a few years back.

Not sure it will have the same impact as Brock McLean's comments though.

I liked it, Wasn't a big fan of the way he went about it at the end of his career but it was good to hear his point of view on things, no surprise he's a big fan of Ryan Crowley lol

Just saw that. The stud is a legend at every level. Had the pleasure of a few interactions with the bloke in my life my fondest memory was an Anzac day beer I had with him. It's easy to flick mud at those who have genuine status in their fields but G Cornes is quality at all levels. Very classy human being no matter how people treated him. This will be a great Open Mike, can't wait.

Stories of him in full white leather, sports car, outside a high school waiting for his newest girl to finish school. Nothing more classy then that. 8)
