And Hahndorf. I've heard there is also a digital scoreboard at Cambrai but haven't seen it personally.
The money men at United are pretty smart people, I'm sure they've done the sums and are confident it will increase the cash flow into the club in the long term. My initial reaction to it was that it seemed excessive given the amount of times it will be used each year. I must admit, I have no idea of what it costs, its capabilities in terms of advertising or how often it will be used. The facilities under the tower are arguably the best in the comp, so I think I'll crawl back into my hole now.
Good call swamp , just make sure you dig it deep enough. Maybe a rush of blood to have a crack at the old foe again whenever you get a chance ole mate. I must admit when i rocked up at the club a fortnight ago i had a giggle about it but i guess it will add to the atmosphere on the big day . Maybe when you have a trot down the ground coming off half back to slot one through we can put your mug up on screen up in stars. Maybe send a selfie to the club and we can arrange it . If we spent the money on a chf or a couple of mids you would of been all over that as well , can't win i guess. From what i hear the west coast barossa Magpies are forking out a pretty penny for players this year.

You guys really love that scoreboard don't you

Like I said, it depends on what your priorities are

You can have your flash scoreboard and I am a content with the investment our club, and most other strong clubs, make each year in one or two premium top up players. After all there is a limit to the number of imports each club can have so why not fill it with the best players and people you can afford? I'm no financial expert, but I think you may find that sustaining a reasonable level of success over a long period and having a strong development program would be more attractive to potential sponsors than paying for an electronic sign that is visible for 8-9 days per year. Just my personal opinion of course and I may be totally off the mark.
