The Wollongong Hawks have announced the signing of their second import in Durrell Summers a 6'5" G/F who had been playing in Venezuela and has previously played some NBA pre-season games for the Charlotte Bobcats.
Also with the 36ers game on Saturday night, Pero Vasiljevic has pulled out of the all-stars team and been replaced by former 36ers import trialist Raheim Brown.

The 36ers with the big win over the all-star team 100-66. Top scorers for the 36ers were Mitch Creek with 19 and Gary Ervin with 15 and for the all-stars Willie Farley had 17 and James Legan 15.

The Perth Wildcats have announced the signing of Drake U'u a 6'4" guard who had been playing at California Polytechnic State University in the US where he was born & grew up but as his mother is Australian he is able to play in the NBL as a local player.

I was planning on starting up a new thread for the new season once all the signings/pre-season games are out of the way, I think I usually put one up with all the offseason in/outs for each team about a week before the season starts. Reckon I should do it earlier?
Johno, it sounds like there will be a Dominos outlet at AA this season and I agree so far I'm thinking Perth/Adelaide top two

NBL pre-season game tonight with Sydney beating Townsville 74-72 in Parramatta. For the Kings Charles Carmouche had 27 points, Brad Hill had 20 points & 10 boards and AJ Ogilvy chipped in with 9 points & 10 boards, for the Crocs Josh Pace scored 20 points, Brian Conklin had 12 and Mirko Djeric 11.

Not sure Johno but Sydney beat Townsville again tonight 81-70 in their Loggins/Bruton Cup game in Penrith. For the Kings Jesse Sanders had 19 points & 11 boards and AJ Ogilvy and Kevin White each had 17 and for the Crocs Brian Conklin had 16 points & 10 boards and Josh Pace scored 14.

Excellent win by the 36ers tonight beating Perth 102-91 in their Loggins/Bruton Cup game at Trinity Grammar in Sydney. For the 36ers BJ Anthony and Jarrid Frye each had 19, Daniel Johnson 18, Gary Ervin 12 and Anthony Petrie 10 and for the Wildcats Shawn Redhage had 21, James Ennis 14, Jermaine Beal 12, former 36ers DP Erik Burdon had 11 and Damian Martin 10.

Unfortunately the 36ers went down to Townsville 105-86 in Sydney tonight without Adam Gibson & Luke Schenscher playing. Top scorers for the Crocs were inport duo Josh Pace with 26 and Brian Conklin with 16, for the 36ers Daniel Johnson had 24 points & 13 boards and Gary Ervin scored 13.
In the other game tonight the Perth Wildcats easily beat the NZ Breakers 91-64. For the Wildcats James Ennis had 22 and Shawn Redhage had 19 and the Breakers were lead by their imports with Kerron Johnson scoring 24 and Darnell Lazare 14.
All of these games are being streamed for free with commentary from the Kings Radio guys:

In todays games Cairns beat Sydney 99-91. For the Taipans Stephen Weigh had 27 points & 11 boards and Cam Tragardh had 18 and for the Kings Brad Hill racked up 42 points and Charles Carmouche added 18.
In the other game Rotnei Clarke hit the game winner for Wollongong in OT to beat Melbourne 101-98. For the Hawks Clarke scored 25, Larry Davidson 22 and Tyson Demos 20 and for the Tigers Stephen Dennis had 30 points and Nate Tomlinson 20.
The Perth Wildcats were declared the inaugural winners of the Loggins/Bruton Cup taking out another pre-season championship and James Ennis won the Ray Borner Medal for MVP of the tournament.
