The death penalty can never be excused as it allows a state a means by which it can pick and choose who is fit to live and who isnt

50 off 66 balls required, 7 wickets in hand.

Hussey & White batting, still have Christian, Handscomb & Hastings to come and we only have 3 overs left between Sayers and Botha..

Hard to be positive with Ferg and Hughes going out for what I assume is the remainder of this comp.

Having had some time to think about it, I do like the new format. Get into some form with a bit of hit and giggle, then when the summer really gets underway it's 4 day cricket. Should lead to a better platform for blokes coming into the test side. Also lets the selectors have all the actives players in the same city, much easier to be watching more and meeting. Plus the national coaches can be on hand for every player as well. Gives some local grounds a chance to host list A matches and gets cricket back on to free to air.

Just so long as it gets rotated to all 6 states.

It won't go to all the other states because as u said its handy to have all the selectors and coaches on hand.

90% of them are based in NSW and won't be to keen to pack up a move for a month just for domestic cricket
