In those recent press conferences for NSW fires, there was other information scrolling across the bottom of the screen. Captions over the top of this would have made them hard to read. On a live broadcast like these, someone has to type the words for the captions in real time which is prone to error.

Go to http://firstrownow.eu but make sure you have the ad block add on for Firefox. Do not use Internet Explorer.
You can watch pretty much any sporting event for free. The only downside is the quality is pretty poor.
Dont forget to use Ad Block though. The site has ridiculous amounts of pop-ups if you dont.
