Ditto Hackswell
Yeah agree with that. But perhaps we are looking at the 3 card trick. Give them no competative games before the first test lol

In fine form, should of well and truly sealed his spot for the summer. Is he the next skipper?

Well I was only thinking thinking this morning about what would happen if Clarke was injured before or during the Ashes, who would lead the side?
Watto is VC isnt he? Im sure he wouldnt get the nod so would that mean Haddin or a punt on Smith. Ive even heard suggestions that Bailey will come in and be VC in his first test

If Clarke got injured before 1st test Bailey would debut as captain i reckon.
I think Haddin is VC

Probably depends on whether Clarke was likely to be out for 1 test or more. For a one off test, I'd say Haddin will do it. If it's an extended absense, pick the best 11 and work out who would make the best captain out of the selected team.

Another day lost. I actually love the fact we've got Rogers, Clarke, Warner, Smith and a few others knocking on the door scoring runs and playing cricket while the poms sit around playing Canasta. Maybe we can just keep shipping them around to wherever is forecast to rain so they can't even have a decent net session.

agree, however i wouldnt bend over to their request of playing a strong side, that doesnt happen when our guys play county sides, i cant believe the ACBs eagerness to appease these ****
