Has their been any further confirmation on Gill
Was he injured or did Craigy not play him because it was a Monday game and for security to cover Roo or Stevens?

He was "officially" told not to play - after pulling up a little sore at training despite declaring himself fit? Didn't matter he should be right this week and at least he didn't waste himself in our fwd line yesterday because not even his heroics could have got us into the game yesterday.
Still he is a Crows players and it is their call - we don't pay him anymore and we need to be above the past 4 years of relying on AFL talls to bog up our team but it seems we can't do without them unlike some other SANFL teams - e.g. the obvious being Centrals!

on reflection i am disappointed in the final margin, from around the 18 min mark of the first till around the 13min mark of the last qtr our total domination was like this - gfc 18-9 to nafc 5-3
it was however still great to wake up this morning

Re: Glenelg v North - Rd 10 2007
Well F*** me dry and call me dusty!!!! Just got home from a days shopping in teh city with "her 'indoors"
Yesterday I saw the Glenelg side I know exists but because off poor attitudes and lack of adherance to the team values our blokes signed up to at the start of last year we haven't seen this year apart from one game against Port
LAst time time I saw the Bays play on my birthday we got a right royal rooting from Centrals (100+ pts) in 1994....Today it was pure gold on the hill don't ask me who played well as I spent most of the day catching with old mates, giving high fives to the louts as we pored on goal aftetr goal in teh 2nd and 3rd quarters and having a good chat with a few of the North posters from this site Punky BPBRB and the Wedge Man.
In many ways I'm p!ssed off with how we played as yesterday we showed what we can do if all 21 blokes go out their and work their butts off for 4 quarters and play with a committed attitude to themselves and the guernesy. Gee if we played like that against South, Sturt, Norwood and West earlier this year we would be in the five comfortable. The fact that we didn't we have blame to blame but ourselves. Mind you Norwood and Sturt fans are quite right to state that if their teams liked they did on Saturday we wouldn't get within cooee of them given how we played agaisnt them on those respective days.
This weekend shows how close this comp really is and that no side is unbeatable. If clubs go out with a 100% attitude to work their ar5es like Norwood, Sturt and Glenelg did this weekend anything is possible and no side is certainties for the flag.
For my lot though yesterday will count for bugger all if we don't reproduce that same effort next week against West. If we don't we deserve to be also rans.

Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Caught that on my digi cam. Already noted is the crap quality, lack of sound and my poor coordination of actually following the ball with the camera. But it was a pretty long kick either way.

Nice one... the dodgy video made it look like he was kicking from 80 metres... Love your work!!!

I think we have relied on Griffen - last year and his departure has left a bit of a hole in the team.
We used to be good :-(
