Sure was bizarre but really only a good thing not hitting a 3 all game and not giving a 4 quarter effort (yet again) and still beating the best.

The 36ers got out of jail tonight against the Hawks, winning 82-81. Seemed to be a lack of urgency all game.
DJ & Ervin both scored 16.

Many if the players were struck down by illness during the week. Then Earvin had a back problem and Frye with an injured ankle. At no time did the whole squad train together this week, one day only a third of the squad trained. Gibson barely trained at all. They should have lost but somehow managed a win

Not sure I agree with that chief. It felt like we always had their measure and we had that 6-9 point buffer for a lot of the last. We were 4 points up with a second to play. I didn't think we were ever gonna lose that. Last year we would have without any doubt what so ever but this year at 8-2 now there is a real sense of confidence and on court calm Bring on the road trip

Another couple of minutes and I think we would've been beaten. Yes, they came home with a wet sail but all game we looked like we were just expecting to rock up and win especially with their best big man out. I know some of the guys were crook but that was probably the worst I've seen us play this season.
Very much looking forward to seeing how they go on the Nth QLD road trip.

Good news with 36ers coach Joey Wright being named NBL coach of the month for November in a unanimous vote in which the Sixers went 6-0.
Also Tigers star Chris Goulding was named player of the week for November beating out the 36ers Gary Ervin by just 1 vote.

The 36ers went down to the Crocs 98-94 in Townsville tonight.
When Steven Markovic hits 5 3pts in the first 5 minutes of the game you know it's probably not your night. Markovic finished with 31 hitting 8/11 3pts and for the 36ers Gary Ervin had 22 but probably spent too long on the bench in the 4th when the Crocs made their charge with so many crucial plays.
Hopefully the 36ers can bounce back in Cairns tomorrow night.
