Spending half an hour updating the ladder, scores, next round etc on the front page and then clicking on the X button instead of Save Button.

Seeing the time of posts on there and forgetting that daylight savings has ended and getting excited over seeing a post at "12:10pm" thinking it's nearly lunch time, only to realise its really 11:10 :( :(

Profiteering at it's very best / worst.

Went to Sydney for the MLB Opening Series a few weeks back and had a few days around Sydney town doing the tourist thing. Stayed near Chinatown which is walking distance to Darling Harbor.

All around the city, and I mean ALL around the city hoisted up flag poles, light poles ( they aren't stobie poles in Sydney ) etc were flags advertising the game with various players in various pitching/hitting/fielding action shots. I'd say they would be 2400-2800mm high and about 600-800mm wide. Typical silky type material.

I'd estimate on Darling Harbor alone there would have been 500 flags and around the city and then the ground on the day, upwards of 1500.

Moore Apparel has been selling off the excess stock of hats, bags etc and pretty keen to get one of these flags I emailed Sydney Council who in turn put me onto Moore Apparel.

They hit their website yesterday after being washed and dried - $299-399 depending on the player and his popularity!!!!

WAF Joke!

No, they're hoping ( Sydney is anyway ) to get them here every 4 years.

My gripe is cost vs quantity. If there was 100 or so I'd understand the selling price but the city was literally covered in them. My 1500 estimate might not even be close to the mark. They were all the way out at Bondi and in every CBD street.

Its not really free. Everyone pays a Medicare Levy. Mine was about $600 and I havent been to the doctor in about 3 years. So I pay about $1,800 per visit.

Those Alfa Romeo commercials can **** off too.
