Rnd 3 - Central v Adelaide @ Playford Alive Oval (Sat 19/4)

Post by Big Phil »

The Doggies had a very good win against their more fancied opponent in the Redlegs and will take a lot of confidence out of the game while the Adelaide Crows SANFL side registered their second consecutive loss to a very impressive Double Blues line up...

There is some talk that Taylor Walker could front for Adelaide in this game, returning from his knee reconstruction, while, should he play (some talk he wont?) this will be the first time Ian Callinan faces his old side and out on their home soil...

Go out and support them mate, not the fault of anyone at your club that the Crows are in, so give your boys all the help they can get.

Agreed, plus 4,000 crows supporters will be there, so our team needs the support.

Personally I'd never abuse nutta, he's a club champion. I understand why he made the decision he did for his family and future. He still loves the club. There's not too many opposition players I'd bother to "abuse" anyway, let alone a champ like nutta.

Nice try, but I think you might've just missed the point of smac's post there Bouncey.

More attention to detail please. It's nearly Round 3, after all. ;)

No, our family memberships and a lot of our time is the contribution we make. And we haven't withdrawn that based on something the club hasn't done.

This is a Personal thing (for supporters, at least) isn't it?
To attend or not to attend -difficult for 'principled people'.

Don't think its fair to have a go @ Callinan - it is his 'living' afterall & he isn't a CDFC product, didn't he come from Tassie?

It was a very difficult thing for me not to support WWTFC & go to another Club in SAFC - I still don't know how I will 'support' on the day.
Against The Cows, I think it will be easy because of my distaste of them & everything they stand for but against other Clubs, not so sure.

This whole sordid affair is terrible really - thank you Trigg & Chapman :evil:

What I have noticed about the addition of AFL Reserves so far is;

1. the significant drop off of Magpie Fans - CS in particular, not sure Koch expected that.
2. the fact that (as predicted) the amount of Cows Fans attending games is about 15% of that predicted - what a shock :roll:
