With Tippett in form I like that matchup if I was a swans fan. Remains to be seen how match fit he is though.
I'm gonna tip the swans up there though

I agree with that. the Swans should of won easily, Hawthorn with no Hodge, Mitchell, Lake, Rioli............... & other injuries to good players were unlucky in the end with a very very depleted side.
If your a Swans supporter it nothing to BARR up about!

Here's the thing though, Collingwood and Geelong have introduced youth, Hawthorn (and Sydney) topped up over the years with players from other clubs. With everyone on the park you've got a formidable, experienced line up. When injuries occur to key veterans the youth you haven't been developing aren't experienced enough to fill the void. In my view Collingwood and Geelong have done it right.
When was the last time MItchell had two injuries in one season? He's normally Mr 20 games a season every year. Sewell is gone and Hodge's regular representation was a huge benefit for Hawkers last year. Will Lake have the hunger now he's got his medal? Plenty of questions over the Hawks even before this match even though their percentage said they are unbeatable.
Hawthorn just don't have the next generation of players ready but having said that no club can counter injuries that occur during a game but a Rioli hamstring injury is hardly a shock to anyone.
