Did Ironbank have too many on the field?

Scores are now on sporting pulse Ironbank 12 goals 11
Obviously the sunday Mail get their scores from sporting pulse as they had Ironbank zero score in today's paper.
I assume each club has someone delegated to enter their scores on sporting pulse and Ironbank were just a bit late doing theirs.

27 to 12 is a flogging. Did Ironbank have a few out or did a few players have a point to prove to an ex Nth Adel coach that gave them the flick a few years ago ?

I see A Jarman was listed as playing so that would suggest they had plenty out!!

So it sounds like Jarman is trying to change the culture of the club. How can anyone view that as a negative?

No one at IB does.... the senior group hangs off his every word.

And players missed through injury, not missing training.

That is a flogging that I did not expect, players in or out. So...is it Lobey, Uris & the rest? Normally it's September that uris fire, so this looks pretty ominous.
As for Onkas - jeez. But with their ressies 6-0 they wouldn't be thinking relegation though.

Was at MCAHA on Saturday to see Bankers play and half way thru the second quarter there was a goal in it. Uraidla are the bench mark by a mile this season. The addition of Ivens and Delvins make them a 5-6 goal better team than last year. Absolutely the team to beat and good blokes as well. Very hard at it and fair with great skills. The ironbank kids learnt what is required. People that sledge and hang crap on Uraidla know very little about how good this club is even if their juniors struggle at times. Hopefully Ironbank can get to where they (Uraidla) are In a year or 2. I would say they would go close to beating Rostrevor for an amateur league flag.

Pretty sure that players were dropped for going to the Crows match - which by the way I have no problem with if you are trying to enforce a culture on a Club.

Looking forward to watching the interleague match between Hills and RMFL. Do you boys traditionally get a pretty strong squad together? By that I mean do your "guns" suit up for it?

Traditionally we don't play an inter-league match. Will be interesting viewing though

overthehill wrote:What are your boys doing at training Cracka? looking at the side you put on the park against TV, who are these guys? And how are your B Grade and U17s both undefeated? Perhaps the 9 A grade coaches you have need to re-think how you train your players!

Not sure what's going on at trainings but most of the injuries are match related.
B grade have just been scraping by in some games but I think we have some B grade depth (no real stars in B's but a good team) to fill in for the players going to the A's. We could probably cover 2 or 3 A grade injuries like most teams could but not the 8 or 9 we have now.
Senior injuries don't affect our U17's really, which is a very good side, I think 6 of them are playing their 3rd year (qualified for the 1/2 year bit) & played in the 2012 S/C premiership side so probably why they are going ok.
9 A grade coaches eh, interesting, I'll have a look at that.

I'm not sure what to think of the Hahndorf/Onkas result?
I also think Ironbank learnt about running hard, possession football and playing on.
I also learnt that Daniel Motlop is a nice bloke.

Echunga 4th with Bridgey then Hahndorf in the next 2 matches.

Seems pretty even after Lobey and Uraidla.

Has Sutherland got Uris playing a different style of footy this year considering the scores they are putting on the board? Uris have typically been a team that keeps oppositions to not much and scoring not much themselves but just doing enough to win. They are posting some serious scores on the board, just seems more attacking than previous years.
Surely Echunga would be going into those next 2 games feeling pretty confident, but what has happened to Hahndorf? They got a good mix of talented youth and older, experienced players but doesn't seem to be clicking at the moment!
