3000 only turned up because I bet the MCG game is a sellout.
I attended a Collingwood v Bendigo game at Victoria Park with a similar attendance in 2010. All attendees I spoke with were only attending that game because they didn't have a ticket to the following day's game at the MCG for ANZAC Day

Using that philosophy we should never play a game. Better to make money when games are on and players are paid than lose money on weekends like this. Common sense.
