agree to most degrees but taking their victories away which they earnt fairly and squarely needs a rethink IMO
having future games confiscated and rewarded to the opposition is the fair way for me
9 weeks suspension = 9 future quarters forfeited & the game in which the incident occurred is also forfieted
so...
Round 14: Blackfriars rewarded victory (game of the incident)
Round 15: Angle rewarded victory - a CU forfieted game
Round 16: Mitchell Park rewarded victory - a CU forfeited game
CU now have 1 quarter carry over points
Marbles.
Why are you highlighting a Div 994 win in a semi final on your sign on?
That's nearly as bad as Morell with You win Morell on his.
Gained under false pretences by the way.

That makes a mockery of the comp. What if they were due to play Ingle Farm, WC, BOS or Rosies? That side gets a week off leading into the finals and a huge leg up over other teams. Also, those teams due to host a home game miss out on valuable revenue - unfair on them.
Think things through before you post mate.
What the league has done is fine, it's working, sucks for the good people at CU but they knew the rules.

i agree, and youre right
but its also an outrage that all the good efforts of good people, good players, friends, families, girlfriends, committee members, volunteers & all their dedication from the past 2 years have been f##ked up by 2 wankers who need a crack across the knees with a baseball bat
a surpreme court would not punish a whole suburb for one individuals malicious actions, the penalty is "unjust" but yes the club needs to be harshly penalised, is this the only way?

Look morell, what you say is right and they clearly knew the rules. Jetters is also very right too it just doesn't happen in the top echelon of the league and it has absolutely nothing to do with your mercenary ideals.
For me you can control a club but you can't control individuals even if you think everything is going well. With respect I site my tenure at MP, I clearly knew the priors of Luke Mac and frankly him and Nat were key reasons for me coming to the den. Luke is a gun person with a lovely family and clearly had turned the corner, but guess what, one dumb brain fade and back to earth we came. Nothing in it at the time but under the new league sanctions we could have been bottom two. Don't get me wrong I would trust Luke with my life but I was always on edge when he played. Is he dirty, no, is a moron, no, does he have white line fever, you bet your ass. I'm sure Bain is no different but in this instance the entire club pays the penalty.

A loss to WC could see Rosies overtake them in 3rd spot depending on other results.
IF go down and they go into R17 against BOS having lost 2 on the trot and could potentially be playing in an Elimination final.
Forgive me for trying to start conversation about footy!

Can you please highlight where I've stated that?

We had a season way back when where we were told in no uncertain terms that any more incidents and we were out. It was after a brawl in the B grade at Houghton from memory. It was communicated very effectively to all players and everyone knew that we simply couldn't stuff up or it was the club that would suffer. We banned two players from playing for us. We were saints and scholars for the rest of the year. Club sanctions for individual actions work and work well...Yank Man wrote:Look morell, what you say is right and they clearly knew the rules.
