Good win by the bombers over the magpies yesterday. Must've put some hard yards on. I would imagine not to many would've given them much of a chance going on form

Was a good win, always good to beat the boxies.
Probably have done enough to avoid the spoon now.
Seems like no one wants 4th spot, Tanunda and Nuri both struggling, are Ango a chance to grab 4th?
Looks like they gave the all conquering Donnies a real decent run.
Heard that Mercer came off injured yesterday, hopefully not too bad would be a huge loss for Centrals

Always a pretty sad indictment of the players when they get up for a win the week after sacking their coach especially considering how poor they have been in the last few weeks.

Incorrect, actually had a game plan, some structure and players that should have been in A grade Actually selected to play in the right grade.

Willaston gave us a towel up yesterday. With so many outs for the maggies Willaston too tall and would think it will be a Willaston v Centrals GF.
Shocking injury to Willaston player Tosold with a double break to his leg.
Hope the lad has a speedy recovery.
Early favorite for Schluter Medal would have to be Molyeneu from Centrals with Fry and Campbell from Willaston 2 other great chances with O'Brien from Ango polling well also.

If true, who is he playing with, how is he going, should be dominating out there, as he certainly thinks he is pretty good
Some off his comments he makes i cant see him being liked to much in a team environment
Hope he gets kicked off soon

Playing for Kapunda, has been in the best 3 weeks out of 5, and has kicked 3 goals. Dont reckon he has set the competition on fire, but having said that we play them next week so time will tell.

Enjoyed watching Gawler Central and South Gawler on the weekend.
Central's defensive pressure was impressive. South really found it hard to match that.

Enjoyed hearing the South supporters blaming the umps in the last quarter. Always fun to hear that.
On the umpiring, I thought the standard was pretty good. I guess it just depends on what you're used to.

Classy player, has made a difference to Bombers midfield and no problems about his team skills. Hope he sticks around.

Bombers had a good crack for the first half but eventually South started converting after missing a heap in the first half. They really hurt us for pace and their tall timber forward gave them some strong targets.
Not a bad game considering conditions, the oval hasnt held up too well with the rain and resembled a cow paddock in patches.
Looks like the fight for 4th will go down to the wire, ive got Tanunda, Nuri and Angaston all finishing on 7 wins and it coming down to %. The 3 are seperated by about 2% at the moment so it makes for an interesting final 3 weeks.

Id say almost zero chance. Their % is terrible, would need to win all their remaining games comfortably and rely on the teams above them to drop pretty much all their remaining games.

After a slow first half was a good win by South, ran away with it in the end.
Heard there was a nasty incident at Angaston today, heard a Centrals player was felled 100m off the ball and that the Tigers will be taking it further

Nothing in it, the bloke that was felled played on for the next 2-3 quarters anyway and was probably best on ground until he went off. Did he cop another bump later on that made him go off?
Perhaps he just picked the wrong guy to start with.
The better incident was a certain loud Centrals supporter/ex pres absolutely shitting himself when confronted by a Panthers fan

Solly didn't take any further part in the game after half time, but was probably BOG at that point and giving his opponent another bath.

Cannot remember a more cowardly act in the recent history of the BL&GFA. Wouldn't expect the offender will be playing any further in 2014, and a fair chunk of 2015. A disgrace to his club, so not sure they would want him back anyway.

I didn't see the incident but I look forward to reading Mike Teakle's impartial report in the Herald this week...

Sorry for bombing the BL&G thread, but with one of safooty's favourites currently playing in this comp, I'd thought it be fitting we (safooty posters) try and track the great Marc Cox's clubs that he has represented. Now I have a list but am not 100% on the following, but please help out if you can

Norwood
North Haven
Seaton
Port Districts
West Croydon
Para Hills
TTG
South Clare
Encounter Bay
Kersbrook
Virginia
Echunga
Barossa Districts
Payneham

I'm sure I've missed out a few and not sure whether the mods thinks this deserves it's i own thread. Not knocking the bloke as it would be interesting checking out how each club operates
