Paddy is derived from the Irish, Pádraig: the source of those mysterious, emerald double-Ds.

Patty is the diminutive of Patricia, or a burger, and just not something you call a fella.

Source: paddynotpatty.com :D

 but they are both Patricks!

Master Beefy is named Patrick, we call him Paddy, ignoramuses call him Patty.

You get called patty when you think everything is about you and your bigger then the club. Also when you have a crap game you say you are injured as a cover story.

It will be interesting to see how he goes as the lone tall forward when he gets double teamed in his 10th AFL game

Disappointed to lose Ryder in the end but was always up against it as soon as he chose Port only, happy that we stuck at it and got more than the original pick 17 offered. Hopefully we can snare a couple of good kids with 17 & 20, Cooney and a couple of sweetners from the AFL are just a bonus

In: Boyd and 37
Out: Griffin, Cooney and 6

Short term loss for long term gain. Boyd, Macrae and Stringer tip 10 picks last year, will develop nicely with the rest of the young group.

Prob expect no improvement, maybe even a step backwards in 2015 but then improve after that.

I dont mind it.

Now the other small issue of a coach....
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

He just gives us a target, now the rest of the forwards get the next best defender... Crameri should be the big winner out of this...

The AFL did not want this going to a grievence hearing and offered up a couple of incentives to get a deal done.
Think you may find the fixture and times is fairly kind to us next season plus a long term arrangement for ANZAC day will be approved. Also talk that some of our fines may "disappear" although not sure if that went through in the end

The AFL will make sure it happens, they don't want it going to the grievance tribunal.

Essendon already traded to get Giles, why, because they know Ryder won't be there next year.

It'll happen Valleys, put your mind at rest!

Giles deal not done.
The AFL would love Ryder to go to GWS but its not their call

My bad, I thought it was done.

Is done now

You mean like when he put up his hand to be captain and no-one took any notice?
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.
