Let's not forget senior footy is a competitive sport, it's not really acceptable to finish bottom.
It's not colts. Finishing bottom is completely unacceptable. I like the comp how it is at the moment, I can't remember the last time we had a season that finished with top 5 or 6 so close. Two wells knocked of hamley and mallala pretty comfortably early in the year then didn't end up making finals..

Fair enough, but it's not AFL either. In context, finishing last in country footy is better than folding trying to be something you ain't. The extracted statement above wasn't about trying to finish last. Given most talk on this site is about cash players, I doubt that will sink in far. There is an age old saying that a fish rots from the head first. Over enthusiastic country football club power brokers who think $1000 a game is market value need to reassess community priorities. I guess you can't really blame the players..

I heard they are working through a trade at the moment. There are a few sticking points. Mallala want draft picks, Ardrossan want to part ways with players.
IMO, the eagles have a really good group of young fellas coming through that Forry has looked after. The club need to look at a 5 year plan so they have a great environment for these kids to be involved in and competitve rather than look for a quick fix now.
I heard the Pies moved him on so he will need a new home somewhere!
Surely not after having played for Pasky? I'd never play for another team in the same league but that's just me. I guess if he goes with a mate it would make it easier and he's a quality midfielder so there could be some decent cash on the table if true..

How come the pies have moved him on? Hasn't performed? .....?
Off field is the whisper (but nothing I'm actually aware of). However if the story is correct, his 6 week disappearing act when he was injured only to turn up a week out from finals my have something to do with it also. His selection on GF day ruffled a few feathers, but you would imagine the people who picked him on the day would be the ones who say whether he stays or goes... funny one really.

I've heard Maggiepie can shed some light on this one.. Let's just say kings playing ability is wanted, but the rest is not.
