Those in the know will tell you coming back from a knee re-con is a 2 year process, His 'back to his best year' would've been this year, And now they dump Captaincy of the second most frustrating team in the AFL behind Richmond?? Stupidity
Hey just my thoughts.....
Does the Captaincy really affect how you kick and catch the footy.
In todays AFL group with massive leadership groups and people employed to oversee leadership development, it is more than just one man holding fort.
I have to admit i was surprised at the appointment, but it is hard for anyone that isnt at the coalface to determine the quality of the appointment.
Time will tell though.

Its a bold and unexpected move by the Adelaide Football Club, something I'd (and others) never think they'd do. IMO they've been quite conservative in the past and played it safe with coaching and captain appointments but I feel they've had a change in attitude in first choosing Phil Walsh as their new coach which I reckon people didn't expect and now appointing Walker as captain. As they say fortune favors the bold.

How can you even compare the 2?
Does this mean Sloane (obvious choice as Capt IMO) is in danger of leaving also?

Just because you earn a lot of money doesn't mean no one else can comment.
