Re: 2015 Trial Games - LIVE UPDATES
8.1 to 1.0 in the final quarter.
16.5 to 1.0 after half time.
Didnt see the game but thats a fair turn around. Were North that bad in the second half or us that much better?
Only a trail and not sure of the strength of North' sides but both copped a hiding

Re: 2015 Trial Games - LIVE UPDATES
North took the points over Norwood in the first half.
Norwood reversed their form in the second with their surperior game plan.
North copped some injuries and some key players a bit light in condition hence short trials for individuals.
They still have a half a dozen others to return.
Only a trial match but Norwood do have a good depth of players.

Re: 2015 Trial Games - LIVE UPDATES
Norwood were very good in the second half - North were very physical in the first half but could not maintain the intensity. Norwood 2s had Allan, Partington and Viney who would be expected to play in the League side. Denmeade looked good up forward in the 2s with 4.

Re: 2015 Trial Games - LIVE UPDATES
Eagles played, I think, a very strong line up. Happy to be advised otherwise. Wundke, Lewis and Thompson perhaps the three notable absentees.
Three more injuries for us. Taylor ankle and looked bad, Guilden and Dale more minor but did not play after quarter time. Notable absentees for us Liddle, Murphy!, Bass, Rolfe! Veide, Redigolo, Boyd, Furdin and the two unseen recruits Flagg and Darrou would all be expected to be in our strongest side.
Eagles played committed running football and were very good around the stoppages. They would have been pleased with their commitment and adhearance to the game plan. When South played well, they looked good enough. Rankine played down back in the second half and was impressive, as was Sam Overall and Brad Crabb. McLeod and Cross very good for us in the midfield. No winners up forward for me.

Doc
Eagles had 8 first choice players missing
Wundke, Lewis, Thompson ,Guiffreda, Thurlow, P. Raymond, Boyd and Jarrad.
So they would be happy with there first run vs Souths second.

And Hall and Petrenko...that's probably the first 10 players missing.....good effort to thump them on their home ground with a 2nd string team
